“The number of ventilators we need is so astronomical…there is no stockpile available”

(Silver Doctors Editors) The Governor of New York held his latest coronavirus news briefing just a few hours ago.
Recall that two days ago, the Governor lashed out at the Federal Government and FEMA, yet during today’s briefing, Cuomo was much more reserved.
Here’s Thursday’s briefing in its entirety:
For more than the first 20 minutes of today’s briefing, Cuomo kept talking about ventilators, the machines that keep patients mechanically breathing when the patients can’t breathe on their own.
Cuomo seems to be implying, or at least planting the seed, that if a person doesn’t come off of a ventilator after a period of time, often citing a period of 20 to 21 days during today’s briefing, then there is less of a chance the person will be able to come off the ventilator at all.
The question is, will the state of NY just develop a guideline saying “people will be taken off of ventilators after 21 days”?
Cuomo did say they’re doing everything they can with respect to ventilators, but that “the number of ventilators we need is so astronomical…there is no stockpile available”.
Consider “reports” coming out of Spain, where doctors have literally taken the elderly off of ventilators to give the ventilators to younger, healthier patients.
There are simply not enough ventilators to go around according this reporting (it’s in Spanish), and they’re forced to decide who lives and who dies:
Granted, that will have to be taken with a grain of salt, although, what doesn’t nowadays?
From the official narrative to the alternative-media, it’s hard to know what’s legit and what’s not, however, if you can understand Spanish at a fluent level, whether it’s real or not, that video will likely bring you to tears.
The President’s Coronavirus Task Force will hold it’s daily press briefing today at 5:00 p.m. EST (though the briefings on a national level notoriously run late).
