Path To War? Iran Fires Long-Range Missiles On ISIS Positions In Syria (One Strikes Near US Base)

MAJOR ESCALATION: Iran has launched a surface to surface missile strike targeting ISIS positions in Syria. This strike could have serious consequences…

The tensions in the Middle East are escalating again.

From Hal Turner Radio Show we learn of Iran launching long range ballistic missiles on ISIS targets inside Syria, though one of the missiles landed near a US military base:

Iran reportedly bombs ISIS positions in eastern Euphrates with long range ballistic missiles from Kermanshah province, one of the missiles allegedly landed near a US military base.  The missiles traveled over 700 miles from the territory of Iran – completely over Iraq, before striking with what is said to be “very good accuracy” near the US Base in Al-Tanf, Syria.

Here’s a map to give you an idea of how the missiles traveled:

Multiple sources confirm the US base was NOT hit, and was allegedly NOT the intended target.  HOWEVER, a whole slew of chatter is now taking place in the Pentagon as to whether or not this will be PORTRAYED as “an Iranian attack upon the United States Military” in Syria, thereby opening the door to war with Iran that some in the US seem to desperately want.

Sources in multiple positions to actually KNOW, are telling me “this is the mistake they have been waiting for Iran to make.”

Right now . . . . this very minute . . . . is a VERY VERY DANGEROUS MOMENT FOR THE WORLD.  If dishonest people inside the US government portray this as an Iranian missile launch against US forces, war will be next.   Stay tuned.

I’m not sure if Hal has a typo there and he means to say “covert intel” or “cover intel”, but the point is the same, whether it is covert or not, the “intel” would certainly provide the “cover”.

Here is a round-up of various reports about the strike from Twitter:

Some coverage from Zero Hedge:

It’s a huge development in an extremely volatile environment: overnight Sunday Iran launched multiple ballistic missiles toward Syria against targets east of the Euphrates river

Footage released through official state channels show missiles launched by Iran from its Kermanshah region in western Iran towards Syria, targeting ISIS positions east of the Euphrates in revenge for the September 22 attack on a military parade in Ahvaz, which killed 25 and injured scores more.

However, the United States will no doubt interpret the action as highly provocative as the US Army maintains bases precisely in the broad region targeted east of the Euphrates in Syria.

In the early morning hours of Monday (local time) Iran’s elite Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) published an official statement saying that its Aerospace Division targeted the “headquarters of the terrorists” east of the Euphrates in Syria.

A photo set showing a series of near simultaneous surface-to-surface launches was published alongside the statement.

Videos of the launch were uploaded and circulated widely in Middle East social media. Early unconfirmed reports and video suggest that a total of eight missiles were fired; however, at least two appear to have crashed shortly after launch.

“The headquarters of those responsible for the terrorist crime in Ahvaz was attacked a few minutes ago east of the Euphrates by several ballistic missiles fired by the aerospace branch of the Guardians of the Revolution,” the IRGC said on their official Sepah website.

The launch comes soon after Iranian President Hassan Rouhani called the United States a “sponsor” of those that funded the terrorist attack on Avhaz in southwest Iran — one of the deadliest in Iran’s recent history. The IRGC also vowed “a crushing and devastating response” during last Friday prayers in Tehran.

Notice what is missing – coverage from the MSM – which is troubling in and of itself, because something could “hit the tape” from the MSM, all at once, in a coordinated effort.

Yet for now, we have silence.

There is not a peep from the prime real estate on CNN’s homepage:

Nor is the event important on Fox’s home page:

It is even crickets from Reuters:

Which brings us back to the ominous warning from Hal Turner: The MSM is silent on the matter, yet if there is something in the works to cast the blame on Iran as “attacking a US Base”, well, we all know what Trump’s lawyer Giuliani said last week:

And if for some reason Giuliani didn’t sound convincing enough, because he didn’t necessarily sound “blood thirsty” enough, an “Iranian attack on a US Base” surely would get the war drums beating.

Of course, we must not forget John Bolton’s time-line for regime change in Iran is before 2019:

And 2019 is not that far away.

Here’s what it could mean for the markets –

This is all part of the “priced for perfection” I have been talking about with gold lately. Gold is priced as if the economy is perfect, but more importantly in the realm of geo-politics, that there is world peace, and everybody has gathered round the globe, holding hands and singing kumbaya, but the truth is that tensions are still building, and it a very serious way. Only the MSM is silent about it, and with the difference in time zones, many do not even know what is going on because it is out of the “news cycle” by the time most Americans are awake on Monday morning.

But if we look at the signs all around us, they are there, and the signs are warning of military action.

Oh yeah, and we still have the whole “Assad preparing to gas his people in Idlib”, which Russia says is a staged false flag that is already being filmed. So while “Assad’s alleged future use of chemical weapons” talk may have died down, it has not gone away.

Here’s a though I’ll pose as a question: We have entered the month when the stock market is the most prone for a major and devastating crash (see 1929, 1987, 2008), and if the cartel (as in the Exchange Stabilization Fund, the Fed, and agents of both taking their marching orders from the globalists) no longer wants to, or is no longer able to keep the stock market propped-up, then more importantly, the globalists controlling the cartel would have the cover of “war” on their side, wouldn’t they?

Which leads me to think the tensions in the Middle East are far from defused.

In fact, this could be a short fuse that burns fast.

Stack accordingly…
