The supply chain disruptions are about to go from “very bad” to “complete and total collapse of America”…
UPDATE (by Half Dollar): This is so much worse than just the supply chain disruptions written about below.
And to think, there has not been much chatter in the mainstream media or even the wannabe mainstream media about this.
Still, among other things, Biden, or someone, or some thing, had this to say on Thursday:
“the labor department is soon going to be issuing an emergency rule for companies with 100 or more employees to implement…requirements”.
In other words, push is about to come to shove, but what comes after shove?
Regardless, don’t take ‘Ol Half Dollar’s word for it, but rather, hear it from our “elected” “leader” himself (video will begin playing at correct timestamp):
In reality, Biden read a statement for about eight or ten minutes in total, and if you can stomach it, the entirety really should be listened to because his statement sets the stage for just how corrupt and evil things are about to become in the “United” “States”.
Here are some selected excerpts from his statement (bold added for emphasis and commentary, actual words substituted for various reasons):
- We’re down to 66 million — it’s still an unacceptably high number — of No VacaLocados.
- VacaLoca requirements should not be another issue that divides us. That’s why we continue to battle the misinformation.
- We’re going to continue protecting the EnVacaLocados.
- Parents out there are anxiously waiting for VacaLoca for children ages 5 to 11.
- We have purchased enough VacaLoca for all children between the ages of 5 and 11 in the United States
In other words, more and more Americans’ personal lines (and lives) are being crossed every single day.
Now, I for one don’t believe the official numbers of EnVacaLocados, or No VacaLocados, because let’s not fool ourselves: Why would the Feds not fabricate the statistics in the same way they fabricate other crucial statistics?
But that’s not the important question.
This is: Will Americans just bend over and take it?
Moreover, what’s specifically coming to the Land-of-the-Unfree and the Home-of-the-Seven-or-Eight-Remaining-Actually-Brave-Patriots?
Many Americans are going to snap.
That’s what’s coming, indeed.
And it’s going to be very ugly.
Because when the people have nothing left to lose, are backed into a corner and kicked repeatedly, well now, let’s just say we’re going to yearn for the bought-and-paid-for good old days of the Summer of 2020 on the streets of America because when Joe Deplorable snaps, he’s not going to go down easy, and he is going to leave one heck of a path of destruction in his wake.
And there’s no special insight needed to understand this because everybody knows you can only pull a rubber band so far before it snaps.
Additionally, I wrote this article on Wednesday which may be of interest:
The saying “dog eat dog” is about to go to a whole new level, especially when “entitled” parents don’t get what society in general, and government specifically, “owe” them.
And finally, as a critical reminder, there is a third side in all of this:
Arguably, or literally, or figuratively, or whatever, at this point, it’s way more than just knowing what side you’re on.
END OF UPDATE
(by Half Dollar) They blame the “supply chain disruptions” on the Zombie Apocalypse, you know.
Regardless, finding the stuff you need from Canada & Mexico is about to become quite a bit more problematic than it already is, and as a direct result, that stuff is about to become a heck of a lot more expensive too.
Check out this reporting from Fox News this morning about upcoming “new rules” regarding the you-know-what (bold added for emphasis and commentary):
The new rules, to be announced Wednesday, will allow fully…foreign nationals to enter the U.S. regardless of the reason for travel starting in early November, when a similar easing of restrictions is set to kick in for air travel into the country, the Associated Press reported. By mid-January, even essential travelers seeking to enter the U.S., like truck drivers, will need to be fully…
Why does this matter?
Because Canada & Mexico matter in ways that I’m not sure people are even aware of, especially when it comes to the everyday stuff, like food & fuels, or the durable stuff, like cars, trucks and auto parts.
In part, that lack of awareness could be because it’s cool to get into Cold War 2.0, not to be confused with The Cold War, of course, and to place one’s focus on the CCP, not to be confused with the CCCP, of course, and as a result, the unaware forget about our other two largest trading partners, but no matter what people know or understand about trade, the supply chain, rising prices, and all of that fun market & economic stuff, here’s the key takeaway: The government can either get in the way, or get out of the way, and when the government gets in the way, stuff costs more.
Perhaps all that Zote soap I bought (and wrote about in January, 2021) wasn’t such a dumb idea after all:
And to think, the “in-hand” price has already been on the move higher in the last several months, and now we’ve got some crazy evil announcement regarding international trade with the US coming today?
Which is “just in time” international trade, I might add?
Indeed, the US Dollar hyperinflation is transitory, and the fun & games, or the pain & suffering, or whatever, is only beginning.
And by mid-January, it seems the supply chain disruptions will become even worse.
