Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin and U.S. Treasurer Jovita Carranza are now on the money, literally.
The two officials took a tour of the Bureau of Engraving and Printing on Wednesday to see firsthand the production of new $1 bills, the first currency that will bear their signatures.
Of course, it’s fitting really.
Because we have lost sight of the whole “weights and measures” and “make any thing but gold and silver coin a tender”.
So until his name is on one of these:
It’s still nothing more than debt-based fiat currency bound to end like all the others have before it.
However, we can’t be certain that this is even a gold bar he’s holding:

Because Steve Mnuchin is, after all, besides ex-Vampire Squid, a Hollywood Producer who knows something about special effects.
