The “Infantry Brigade Combat Team” will be delivering food to a neighborhood near you! Now is the time to go full gray man if you have not already…
I really wish I had some good news to report.
It’s getting worse out there.
We’re not even four days into President Trump’s
extremely disingenuous so called “15 day” plan, and we already see the military beginning to take over control of the food supply.
Here’s the latest example, from WBNS:
COLUMBUS, Ohio – Gov. Mike DeWine has signed a proclamation that will activate approximately 300 personnel from the Ohio National Guard to support efforts due to COVID-19.
According to a press release, the soldiers will support the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services and the Ohio Association of Foodbanks around Ohio.
They will be transporting, packaging and distributing food to home in vulnerable areas, community-based locations and partner agencies in rural counties.
There have been reports of other National Guardsmen and Guardswomen getting involved in other states as well, such as in New York.
Here’s the Ohio Governor’s proclamation in its entirety:
Could “other organizations” be now, or eventually, grocery stores and convenience stores?
What about churches?
Also note, the Governor of Ohio isn’t as optimistic as President Trump when it comes to this crisis waning in the next 15 days as the Ohio Governor’s proclamation is open ended.
For those who are not yet up-to-speed on what’s happening, see this article:
I wrote that article well over one month ago.
Friends, stackers and trolls, as I have been saying for years now, the U.S. is turning into Venezuela, but now it’s beginning to happen at Venezuelan speed.
As soon as a few more deep-pocketed individuals realize that not only have they been duped, but now they’re caught off guard, with lots of rapidly devaluing fiat currency in their bank accounts, anything and everything will vanish from the stores.
Some may say “wait, the ‘non-essential’ stores are all closing down anyway!”.
And to that I say yes, but with all of the different e-mails I’ve seen in my inbox, it looks like all of the inventory is still available for purchase online, so I think anything and everything real still gets scooped-up.
In other words, there is going to be a massive wave of buying anything and everything not nailed down, also known as the “crack-up boom”.
But I digress.
From President Trump invoking the Defense Production Act just yesterday, to the National Guard in Ohio distributing food to local neighborhoods, the government, especially at the federal and state levels, is quickly taking over several industries’ means of everything from production to distribution.
Now is not the time to be tacticool.
Now is not the time to act all “big-n-buff”.
Now is the time to keep quiet and have inconspicuous situational awareness.
Remember, in that Martial Law article I wrote over a month ago, it is clear the federal government sees only other federal agencies and employees as “friendlies”, which could also be thought of as the “whole of government approach” we keep hearing the Coronavirus Task Force in general, and Mike Pence specifically, harping about.
Here’s the real question on everybody’s minds: Are soldiers going to be patrolling local neighborhoods, or just exactly how bad will it get?
Some analysts are looking for some sort of martial law-style dystopian nightmare, but I’m just not so sure.
If this virus is real, which I do think it is, then the US military will have a hard enough time simply fending for its own, let alone fending for an entire population.
Said differently, everything is in a state of collapse, and that includes the military, so if my collapse assumption is correct, then the military might be invasive in the beginning, but will soon be forced to revert to their bases and posts in order to maintain a fighting force, protect the military equipment and hardware, and simply take care of their own as they struggle with the same thing everybody else is struggling with, that is, assuming a few soldiers and officers don’t abandon their posts in order to maintain, at the very minimum, physical and administrative control over the bases.
Lets hope there are some soldiers and officers, likely those who are single, who do not abandon their posts, or when the dust settles, if the US federal government is in tact as we know it today, we’ll come to find our bases and posts occupied by soldiers wearing blue helmets and speaking foreign languages.
Alternatively, in another Martial Law possibility, the US military will be deployed where it’s needed most.
That is, the US military will be deployed to where the situation is the most dire – Baltimore, Dallas, Chicago, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, New York and other major urban centers come to mind.
No matter how Martial Law or Martial Law Lite plays out, laying low, keeping quiet, and staying informed with accurate information are the keys right now.
Finally, above all, this should always be your main concern, and I’m not talking about the military here specifically, but I’m talking in generalities only, as in, the main concern when facing any hostile should be this: Avoid conflict at all costs, engage in conflict when it’s only absolutely necessary and there is no other choice.
This isn’t a video game.
It’s not a movie.
And the hospitals are either already over-run, or they will all be over-run very shortly.
You don’t send Navy hospital ships the size of aircraft carriers to the East and West Coasts if the hospitals aren’t being over-run, nor do you have Carnival Cruise Ships standing by at the ready, nor do you erect Army Field Hospitals all over the country if your healthcare system is not in the state of complete and total collapse.
Therefore, it is more important than ever to avoid injury at this point.
Stay healthy, alert, and don’t depend on the government.
Just let the government scramble for a while.
What comes after that scramble?
If lucky, economic collapse.
If we’re not lucky?
