Warren Buffett often talks about how gold is a “barbarous relic”. As well as how “the magical metal is no match for the American mettle”.
Yet given how Warren’s father Howard was a sound money advocate who understood gold’s role rather clearly, it’s often difficult to reconcile some of Warren’s comments.
Especially given how at one point, Warren was one of the largest owners of silver in the world.
