SD Friday Wrap: Gold & silver lose a little as way too many people fall for a totally wrong ‘Drain the Swamp’ interpretation of “Military Justice”…
I’m kind of irate today.
All because of Peak Trump.
People think they’re helping, but what people are really doing is spreading false hope.
That’s what happens when people talk about something they don’t understand.
For example, listen to this utter nonsense (I start it where it gets good):
Granted, I’m assuming the person is talking about the whole “sealed indictments”, “mass arrests”, “ship ’em to Gitmo”, and bring the pedophiles, human traffickers, and Traitors to justice thing.
In fact, there’s really no need to assume.
Feel free to watch and listen to the whole thing, if you can stomach it.
I barely could, and I threw-up a little bit in my mouth.
Now, I don’t know anything about the “Truthification Chronicles” YouTube channel – who it is, who runs it, what they talk about, etc. They have over 40,000 subscribers, and thousands of people have listened to that bass-ackwards nonsense embedded above, so there is impressive reach with that channel, and this is by no means an attempt to rag on Truthification Chronicles, because I’m basically ragging on anybody who disseminates this type of utter nonsense because unfortunately, IT GIVES FALSE HOPE BASED ON NOTHING MORE THAN IGNORANCE.
Again, this video was not something I set my sights on, but rather, it was the result of a quick online search because there is a HUGE EPIC FAIL IN THE ALTERNATIVE MEDIA MAKING THE ROUNDS RIGHT NOW about these “big changes coming to the Uniform Code of Military Justice”.
Let me say this, and in all BOLD CAPS with some ITALICS TOO because it is important:
THE UNIFORM CODE OF MILITARY JUSTICE (UCMJ) DOES NOT APPLY TO STRZOK OR LISA PAGE.
In fact, UCMJ does not apply to 99.999% of the Deep State.
Not only that, but to the .001% of the Deep State that the UCMJ does apply to, well, I’m sorry to break it to those who think otherwise, but the US military is buddy-buddy, and the Deep State within it will protect their own.
People really need to understand what they are talking about before they go about spewing their latest hope porn about how there will be mass arrests, with GITMO ready to receive all the Traitors for which there will be military tribunals.
Not gonna happen.
You want to know what UCMJ really is used for?
In reality, UCMJ is used:
- To punish a low-ranking soldier who is “drunk on duty”.
- To punish a low-ranking solder who connects his iPod to a DoD computer.
- To punish a low-ranking soldier who cusses out and/or gets into a fight with his superior.
- To punish a low-ranking solder who refuses to follow a lawful order.
In general, UCMJ is used to keep young soldiers in line, because, well, they’re young solders, and young solders say and do stupid things, and young soldiers say and do stupid things knowing full well they are not allowed to.
That is what UCMJ is used for.
UCMJ is not used for all of these things that all of the “Patriot truth tellers” are latching on to.
So let me say this again, because it really speaks to the misplaced hope that is rampant in our nation –
UCMJ IS NOT GOING TO APPLY TO ANY OF THE TRAITORS THAT THE PATRIOTS SOMEHOW THINK WILL BE BROUGHT TO JUSTICE.
I’ll give an analogy to better explain this –
Imagine a hot dog seller at a pro football stadium.
You know the guy.
He’s the guy who walks up and down the stands shouting “wieners, get your hot wieners here!”.
Sometimes he has a red-and-white striped hat with a yellow pinwheel on top, but not always. He always has an apron, though it’s not for hygiene but for holding those dirty wads of cash and making change.
Oh yeah, and he never has spicy brown mustard.
And he only gives you one stinkin’ napkin.
You know the guy.
Now imagine the the NFL updates its Code of Conduct for it’s football players, so that a pro-football player can be punished for punching a fan in the face after the fan shouted “you suck” when the player dropped a sure-catch.
Oh yeah, feel the hammer of justice Mr. Unionized Professional Entertainer.
Now, here comes ESPN to report that the NFL’s Code of Conduct has just been updated, and wouldn’t you know, but now we’re finally going to arrest, confine, and bring the hot dog manufacturer to justice because he provides hot dogs that don’t stay warm for a long enough time to the hot dog seller slinging wieners to hungry sports fans.
Making matters worse, “not staying warm for a long enough time” is open to whimsical interpretation.
Not that it matters anyway, because the hot dog manufacturer keeps the NFL commissioner’s fridge stocked with wieners.
And spicy brown mustard.
So, following this hot dog logic, because the NFL updated it’s Code of Conduct, we can now throw the hot dog manufacturer in the slammer, or better yet, we can now take him to the gallows after he’s found guilty for manufacturing wieners that don’t sufficiently retain their heat?
Sounds pretty ignorant, right?
Well, that’s exactly what the alternative media is telling us with these huge, “game changing” changes to the Uniform Code of Military Justice.
OK, “Hey Half Dollar, calm down. Truth Tellers are only trying to help!”.
They are not helping.
What is worse, saying nothing, or saying something wrong which gives a person false hope and leads the person to believe in something that is not true?
I’m sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but:
- The evil globalists/Deep State are the ones pushing for the wall – we’re being duped.
- There will be no Drain the Swamp – we’re being duped.
- There will be no mass arrests – we’re being duped.
- There will be no military tribunals – we’re being duped.
What will there be?
There will be more national self-guided voluntary entry into complete and total slavery by which we either submit to an all powerful police-state tyrannical above-the-law government, or, well, I’m not so sure, but I’m pretty sure it includes bullets and heads.
Unless, of course, you’re an attractive __________ (fill in the blank) who can be used for sex slavery and/or human sacrifice.
Here’s the question: What are the “awake” going to do when they finally come to understand that they’ve been duped?
My guess is that they’ll go back to being brainwashed sheeple.
Sheeple that are, by the day, turning more and more into mindless zombies.
The markets are behaving more or less how I have been expecting them to behave.
For whatever reason, the “booming economy” and “stock market bull market” memes are being pushed onto the masses.
I think it is to cause as much economic pain and financial misery to as many people as possible.
You know, so the poor old lady freezes to death in her home because she can’t afford the home heating oil, or so some able-bodied 30 year-old male commits suicide because he can’t find a job and can’t provide for his family, or so our young ladies are raped and robed by jobless vagrants who have not a dime to their name but have the muscles to force their will.
That is the worst, by the way.
A homeless guy once taught me that, and it rings true to this day, so I’ll say it right now: There is nothing scarier than somebody who has nothing to lose.
And most people are about to lose everything.
We’re going down a very dark and disturbing path.
But then again, in my experience people are generally evil, so I’m biased anyway.
That said, If people are not generally evil, at the very least, people are generally bad, so it makes sense to ramp up the stock market and talk up the economy right before the slaughter.
Here’s what the ramp job looks like in the stock market:
People think the Fed is not going to raise rates any more, and as such, the stock market is lovin’ it, or so the mainstream and majority of the alt-media narrative goes.
As an added bonus, the Fed gets to laugh as everybody in the financial press plays the whole “will they or won’t they” game.
Speaking of pathetic, I’m not sure which is more pathetic, the stock market, or the VIX:
Not a care in the world right now, is there?
I have been expecting more short-term downside action on yields:
I have been wrong so far, but once the stock market turns down again, I’m confident we’ll get another drop in yield.
The questions are from where, and how big of a drop?
I have been talking about the sucker’s rally in the dollar:
I think we will see the end to the rally very soon, if the rally hasn’t run out of steam already.
It is likely the dollar rally has run out of steam.
Copper is doing battle at its 50-day moving average:
Progress is being made in carving out a bottom.
I think crude oil is going to catch everybody off-guard:
Crude oil looks like it wants to break-out here, and I think we’ll be back into the upper-$70s pretty soon.
Generally speaking, people can call time, or price, and generally be right. Trying to call both time and price, however, is not as easy, which is why I don’t do it often.
Lord knows I blew my crude oil call last year.
That said, when I say we could be in the upper-$70s in crude oil pretty soon, I’m talking about by Spring or Summer.
Palladium has been on fire:
Next week 12,500 miners go on strike in the world’s 2nd largest palladium producing nation too.
Platinum, on the other hand, has been a total dud:
I think we’ll take out the 50-day moving average next week, however.
The gold-to-silver ratio is perfectly representing the “pullback” in gold & silver prices:
I’m confident we should see the ratio start turning down again, in my opinion, next week.
Look at what they’re trying to paint on gold’s daily chart:
The cartel is trying to paint a break-down from the bull wedge that has appeared after the rally.
That would be bearish.
However, the “golden cross” is going to be a visible to the even those 90 year-old men who went blind because they took too much Viagra.
And then there’s silver:
I don’t know about you, but I see a higher-low on silver’s daily chart.
That’s three higher-lows.
The next higher-high will be the third, and then there will be no denying “the trend is your friend”.
So let’s revisit what I said about silver last Friday:
Sure, we may lose the 200-day, but I really don’t think the cartel wants to smash silver much lower because I think there is a wave of buyers ready to come in if silver drops below $15.
Sure enough, silver lost its 200-day, and I still think the downside is limited, especially the downside below $15.
There was not a wave of buyers under $15.50 like I thought there would be.
But a silver price below $15, in 2019?
I’d like to see the cartel try.
