U.S. Capitol - Photo by Lance CheungThe federal government is literally destroying the future of America, and what we are doing to our children and our grandchildren is beyond criminal.  If there was one thing that the Republicans in Congress were supposed to do, it was to do something about all of this debt.  These days Republicans can’t seem to agree on much, but the one issue that virtually all “conservatives” were supposed to agree on was the national debt.  The American people gave the Republicans control of the House in 2010 and 2012 for a reason.  Unfortunately, nothing has been done.  Our debt has continued to spiral out of control and now John Boehner and Paul Ryan are pushing a “budget deal” that will essentially give the free-spending Democrats virtually everything that they want for the next 10 years.  That is why John Boehner and Paul Ryan should immediately resign.

From End of the American Dream:

Thomas Jefferson once said that “the principle of spending money to be paid by posterity, under the name of funding, is but swindling futurity on a large scale.”  In other words, he believed that government debt was the equivalent of stealing money from future generations on a massive scale.  Right now, the U.S. government is stealing roughly $100,000,000 from future generations of Americans every single hour of every single day.  And it is being projected that the U.S. national debt will more than double during the 8 years of the Obama administration.  In other words, the federal government will pile more debt on to the backs of our children and our grandchildren during the Obama years than had been accumulated during all of the rest of U.S. history combined.  The federal government is literally destroying the future of America, and what we are doing to our children and our grandchildren is beyond criminal.

This “budget deal” actually increases the deficit in the short-term.

Yes, you read that correctly.

Overall, it is supposed to reduce the federal budget deficit by about 20 billion dollars over the next decade.  But even if the unrealistic assumptions that those numbers are based upon end up working out (which they never do), the “savings” will average just 2 billion dollars a year over the next decade.

And considering the fact that federal budget deficits will likely average well over a trillion dollars over that time span, that is a complete and total joke.

It is kind of like spitting into Niagara Falls and thinking that it will actually make a difference.

Even Paul Ryan is admitting that “this isn’t the greatest agreement of all time”, and in interviews he is complaining that the Democrats wouldn’t allow him to do more.

As if we are supposed to feel sorry for him.

Look – according to the U.S. Constitution the federal government cannot spend a single penny without the approval of the U.S. House of Representatives.

The Democrats cannot force the Republicans to do anything.

So if the national debt more than doubles during the Obama administration it is the fault of both the Democrats and the Republicans.

Today, U.S. Senator Rand Paul called the proposed budget deal “shameful“, and he was exactly correct.

It is utterly shameful that the Republicans believe that it is just fine to steal more than 10 trillion dollars from future generations of Americans during the Obama years.

It is utterly shameful that the Republicans believe that it is just fine that the U.S. government has accumulated more than 200 trillion dollars of unfunded liabilities that will need to be paid in future years.

It is utterly shameful that the Republicans believe that it is just fine to keep running up a debt that is now more than 37 times larger than it was just 40 years ago.

But instead of doing something to fix this, House Speaker John Boehner is blasting those that are concerned about all of this debt

House Speaker John Boehner, R-Ohio, who ceded control of the budget talks to Ryan, likewise pushed back on outside groups’ attempts to influence lawmakers. “They’re using our members, and they’re using the American people for their own goals,” Boehner said, “This is ridiculous. Listen, if you’re for more deficit reduction, you’re for this agreement.”

The Democrats don’t even have to attack fiscal conservatives anymore because the Republican leadership is taking care of that job for them.

And John Boehner has got to be joking when he uses the phrase “deficit reduction” in relation to this proposed budget deal.  In fact, even CNN is admitting that it essentially does nothing to help our long-term debt problems…

It doesn’t really move the needle much on the country’s long-term debt trajectory. That’s because Ryan and Murray opted for pragmatism, explicitly ruling out wrestling over entitlement and tax reform in this round of negotiations.

Back on September 30th, 2012 our national debt was sitting at a total of 16.07 trillion dollars.

Today, it is up to 17.23 trillion dollars.

That means that we have added 1.16 trillion dollars to the national debt in a little more than 14 months.

This is a recipe for national suicide.

We were the wealthiest nation in the history of the planet, but that was never good enough for us.

We always had to spend even more.

Now we have accumulated the greatest mountain of debt the world has ever seen, and someday if our children and our grandchildren have the chance they will curse us for what we have done to them.

Anyone that has run up massive amounts of credit card debt knows that the ride up can be quite enjoyable.  At times, it can seem like the good times will go on forever and that there will never really be any consequences.

But in the end, a very painful day of reckoning always arrives.

The rest of the world is watching what is going on.  They can see us running up all this debt.  The can see the Federal Reserve wildly printing up money.

At some point the rest of the world is going to stop using our increasingly unstable currency to trade with one another and they are going to stop lending us trillions of dollars at super low interest rates.

When that time arrives, the consequences of decades of very foolish decisions will catch up to us very rapidly.

If only we had listened to our forefathers.

Thomas Jefferson once said that if he could add just one more amendment to the U.S. Constitution it would be a complete ban on all borrowing by the federal government

I wish it were possible to obtain a single amendment to our Constitution. I would be willing to depend on that alone for the reduction of the administration of our government to the genuine principles of its Constitution; I mean an additional article, taking from the federal government the power of borrowing.

How much better off would we be today if we had only listened to him?

    • @MaryB,
I was thinking a vehicle borne improvised explosive devise would be appropriate.  I suppose I should thank my lucky stars that just thinking these things is not unlawful.
For any government agency or troll monitoring this site, I am not advocating or promoting violence, per se, against any government entity, no matter how much they may deserve it.  If I were ever to plan something like that, I of course would never advertise it.  LMAO.

    • @Hromano

“I suppose I should thank my lucky stars that just thinking these things is not unlawful.”

YET.  One has to wonder just how much of a leap in technology it will take to go from gathering all possible electronic comms to gathering brain-waves and deciphering them into AV files.  If it can be done, we can trust the bots in DC to do it.

  1. It should be obvious by now that all of our so call representatives are mere figureheads for the real masters – the elites. All we can do on an individual basis is to prepare as best as we can for what coming.

  2. Defense (wars, occupations, intelligence, covert ops, military bases) spending is obscene and totally out of control.  If you want to see where our debt was created, look here.  And look at how much we’ve borrowed and spent so our oil companies can continue to be the most profitable corporations on the planet.  But of course conservatives slam politicians who want to continue social security and medicare programs.  Most of the national debt is onerous, and should be wiped off the books.  When our country was formed after we won our independence, Congress was given the authority to create money and regulate the value thereof.  They no longer have this authority.  So you can blame whatever party you want, or the leaders of the parties.  The people who made the original mistakes are dead and buried.

    • “The people who made the original mistakes are dead and buried.”

Dead and buried, yes, but who says that what they did were “mistakes”?  It’s a lot more likely that this was planned and came off JUST as it was ordered to come off.

As to politics, there are two classes involved here and they are not republican vs democrat, rich vs poor, or liberal vs conservative.  It is RULERS vs ruled.  That’s all.  Everything else is mere window-dressing to placate the sheeple.

  3. It doesn’t really matter what Boner and Cryan Ryan do. The country is totally screwed altogether. There were no spare parts, divers or welders on the Titanic and it sunk. Many of the people on board like the citizens of this country  believed that help was on the way to save them, but the fact is the country is sinking and there are no spare parts, divers or welders to fill the hole, it’s just that simple. Personally I am a political atheist, I don’t like any of the 535 in Washington. There is no stopping the financial  sinking  of America, just be prepared as “Panther” has stated. The Fat Lady is about to sing within a very short time.

Bounty hunting is a good way to rid this country of these types.
    Along with DEMO-SAURI.
I’d pay to be part of that hunt.
    Cheers.

    • 2nd THAT!!!
      How much is this safari?
I’d spend my last FIAT on that hunting trip!

But I believe Bix Weir, they need to keep the pedal to the metal in order to crash the U$D.
And break the hold of the demon bank$ter$. But they still need punished, for most or all of
these a-hoes do not know what they are doing. They think they are saving their political lives!

    • I’m in for that hunt but only if we can use bows and arrows, spears, and other edged weapons.  No guns.  I want to make this last so I can enjoy it!  >:-]

  5. The author of the article is extremely narrow-focused if that’s all he can come up with as to why these traitors should resign. There are better solutions to resignation that would be much more appreciated by freedom-loving people, but the NSA agent reading this post would not take to them kindly, so you’ll just have to use your imagination as to what I referring to.

The list of their treasonous congressional representation is so long, I won’t even bother getting started, since one can surely write a book about it.

  6. Copy that $$$$$$$$$$$$   I hope an NSA agent is reading some of my rants.  They’re pretty mild compared to what I’ve read.  Itching for a fight, I say  “Bring It’  and “Ride Out”   100,000,000 of us.  50,000 of them.   really bad odds IMO.
    Cheers $$$$$$$$$$$$
PS I added 3 $$$ to your post handle.
      Feel wealthier?  :-)
    Courtesy of Bernanke

    • Cheers, AGXIIK!

Thanks for the additional $$$ to my handle.
      I just went from 999,999,999 to 999,999,999,999 !!!
      I’m 999 billion dollars wealthier!
Now I can clean out the LBMA and COMEX of all silver, and buy up as many shares of all silver mining and exploration companies on the planet, and to finish up the job, clean out all silver bullion from every coin store/bullion dealer/PM wholesaler all over the world.

    • Love that flag.  I have seen it a few times and every time I do, I mentally add “Motherf***ers!” to the end of the “Come and take it, ” part.  Hey, if the shoe fits…

  7. You know, RGR, I’m thinking,  as I wash off the residual stink of my Republicanism,  what justice could or would look like.
Nixon was allowed to resign, in digrace, rather than face almost certain impeachment.
His death of a thousand cuts from every enemy he made and every politician looking to make political hay over his demise, was painful to watch.   I vote for him twice.   Maybe he didn’t deserve his fate.  Even today he’s seen as  a devisive character.
It might be 50 years more before his presidency is rehabilitated or consigned to the netherworld of one of the worst presidents.  The books are still sealed on his high crimes and misdemeanors but taking us off the gold standard was a Capital Crime.
Moving  to Clinton–his crimes were palpable, provable, continuous, extending over decades, aided by Brunhilda nee Stalin Rodham and the Arkansas Moon Pie Mafia.
He got a ‘mulligan’ on high crimes and midemeanors that Nixon could not begin to imagine.
    Bush I and Bush II.
Sheesh. I voted for those sons of bitches twice.
What a moron.  Me—baby Bush is to easy a call.
It took me a while to realize that virtually every president of the last 200 years was either a raving lunatic, manic depressive, self absorbed narcissistic sociopath, demonic demented spawn of the devil or just plain old and simple, a murderous psychopath.
    See P44-”D-all of the above”
A brief glance at the DSM and  last 40 presidents would fit into one chapter of mental illness and pathologies.

If these people weren’t elected president they’d probably be on Fox News  today or gone FULL JIM JONES RETARD.
So, given my preference here, I’d rather see the whole pack of them tried either as war criminals or under the Original laws regulating and protecting real money.   Back around 1790 if anyone was found guilty of debasing our gold and silver currency they would be charged with capital crimes and executed.
Enforcing just those two laws would remove the 535 plus  peckerwoods sitting in the House, Senate and White House.  The show would be epic, like the Nuremberg trials.  Not that we will see this happen any time soon.
Most likely we’ll see something along the lines of– Breaking News
“Civilized people of the north;  Gauls, Visigoths and Vandals coming to town to remove the Barbarians”.
Maxsilver identified my middle name coming from Gascony.  That makes me part Gaul I guess.  That is almost as good as being part Neanderthal.   I just took delivery of two Galdius swords from Cold Steel.  Now that’s a knife.
      Sweet
Almost as good as one of our other silver homie getting a 100 gram silver combi bar for Christmas.   I’m not sure which is a better weapon   Maybe I have to buy more to find out

    • “Enforcing just those two laws would remove the 535 plus  peckerwoods sitting in the House, Senate and White House.”

That would be 537 peckerwoods, if the prez and vp are included.

“The show would be epic, like the Nuremberg trials.  Not that we will see this happen any time soon.”

But if we did, wow, now THAT would be a reality show. I can just see the announcer saying, “Which scumbag will be found guilty tonight and executed on the show?  Be sure to tweet in your favorite mode of execution, with the one getting the most tweets used.  Also, don’t forget to enter our grand finale drawing.  The winner will be flown to Washington, DC, and allowed to execute the final remaining scumbag, personally!”.   ;-)

A show like that would kick the asses of both Dancing With The Stars AND The Kardashians… at the same time!

  8. Yeah OK. I’ll bite. But how about the dirtball Reid and the Democrast Senate? How about the crackhead racist Muslim who pulls the strings and can do ANYTHING he pleases because of our criminal media? How about how Obama breaks the law on a daily basis? How about Pelosi with you must pass their law before you can read it? How about our criminal judiciary? How about Obama’s politicized anti-Christian military? How about the DHS, the IRS, Obamcare, Sebelius, unelected communists, white hating czars unaccountable to no one?

Yeah its just turds like Boehner and McConnell lol. They are simply feckless cowards, They are afraid of the media and have lost their souls too. They are the problem?? That is ridiculous. We need the Tea Part types to step it up. We are a lawless nation John Roberts made it official.

So, cut me a break. This country [Republic] is stone cold dead. The United States has not existed since the election of Obama. GWB was terrible but nothing like this. Again, Obama is a limp wristed racist Muslim crackhead communist. Not very good, huh.

  9. I think the writer is putting way, way too much blame on the hapless Republicans Boehner and Ryan. They are more like the deer in the headlights…paralyzed with the fear of what the democrats and MSM will do to them. The real true enemy are the despicable obama, reid, pelosi, etc. Don’t get me wrong on this, those Rinos have to be defeated no doubt…but the extreme danger are the lawless democrats. They somehow have to be eradicated. In fact, Ryan is not so bad…the real repub problems are not only Boehner, but also McCain, LIndsey Grahm, King, and numerous others. I want to see someone like Rand Paul, Ted Cruz, or Marco Rubio be prez….do Not want to see a Chris Christie, or Jeb Bush, etc.

    • Condor stated: “I want to see someone like Rand Paul, Ted Cruz, or Marco Rubio be prez…”

Given that Mrs. Cruz in a Goldman Sux lady, one must really wonder about this red flag.

Marco Rubio? You’ve got to be kidding me! Mr. Marco ‘lets give scamnesty to all illegal aliens’ Rubio. Before getting elected, he promised the Florida voters that he wouldn’t allow for that to happen. He lied straight to their face, and has made it clear that he doesn’t believe in the rule of law. He then went to the forefront of the gang of 8 to get scamnesty passed in the senate.

He’s a traitor who should be hung for treason, let alone be considered for any political position. The illegal alien invasion was allowed to intentionally happen, and designed by the Rockefeller-controlled CFR, with scamnesty planned all along, with all of this being a component of their plan for a North American Union, as a prelude to a NWO one world government. He’s a lying sack of shit who would surely do whatever shadow government president David Rockefeller tells him to do.

If you insist on voting, then vote for the Constitution Party candidate.

  10. Personally, the budget deal served 2-3 purposes…more if I thought about it. They cleared the budget debate slate for the next two years. They will now focus on passing more establishment legislation knowing Barry will sign it, and they created a blinding smoke screen which not only gives street cred to midterm candidates on budget deficit reduction issues, they are hiding everything, I mean everything else in the smoke.

Most important, all of America stopped paying attention to the confirmations in the Senate under the nuclear option. The faux resistance diversion tactics on display the last few nights involving all-nighters with low level Senators hid the first two confirmations, Pillard and Millet. They filled two of three slots to the D.C. Court without so much as a whimper from the brain dead masses.

Keep score on Senate confirmations here: http://www.periodicalpress.senate.gov/

  11. “How much better off would we be today if we had only listened to him (Thomas Jefferson)?”

I am tempted to say “infinitely” but that may be stretching the point… a little, anyway.  Jefferson had one of the finest minds among those worthies we refer to as “the Founding Fathers”.  There are many of his quotes available on-line and browsing through them is an education in and of itself.  One of my favorite Jefferson quotes is:

“I believe that banking institutions are more dangerous to our liberties than standing armies.  If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of their currency, first by inflation, then by deflation, the banks and corporations that will grow up around [the banks] will deprive the people of all property until their children wake-up homeless on the continent their fathers conquered. The issuing power should be taken from the banks and restored to the people, to whom it properly belongs.”

If we read this quote and then think about the roaring 20s (inflation) and the 30s depression (deflation), it becomes clear immediately that Jefferson knew whereof he spoke, for this is exactly what happened in this instance as well as in other periods during our history.  We are literally watching the bankster program for taking ownership of every asset in this country, as well as in other countries too, as it unfolds.  They continue to use this same approach because it works.  Well, it has so far, anyway.  Only time will tell if we are learning anything yet but the odds do not look good that we have.

    • Is it too late to bring back impalement, drawing and quartering, burning at the stake, and possibly some combo of these?  Seems as if their heinous crimes deserve some heinous punishments.

  12. Underground your cartoon why good I like that. I back you an we can put an add in the paper showing this. You know what the difference is from a retardican an a dumbacrate  nothing there both certified born mornontaligest . I cant believe there is still people out there in America that think there is a difference between them.
