The UK Daily Express has reported (noted that it’s a UK publication reporting the loss of liberties for Americans, not CNN, ABC, CBS, or even Faux news) that the US government will use drones against an American civilian for the first time in the man-hunt for Christopher Dorner.

Current odds in Vegas are 2-1 that once the drone strike on Dorner is called in, a subsequent double-tap strike targeting rescue personal will be launched out of habit by the nerds with the joysticks in DC.

Authorities have reportedly offered $1 million for information leading to the arrest of the ex-soldier and NYPD cop.

From The Express:

Yesterday, as a task force of 125 officers, some riding Snowcats in the rugged terrain, continued their search, it was revealed that Dorner has become the first human target for remotely-controlled airborne drones on US soil.

A senior police source said: “The thermal imaging cameras the drones use may be our only hope of finding him. On the ground, it’s like looking for a needle in a haystack.”

Asked directly if drones have already been deployed, Riverside Police Chief Sergio Diaz, who is jointly leading the task force, said: “We are using all the tools at our disposal.”

The use of drones was later confirmed by Customs and Border Patrol spokesman Ralph DeSio, who revealed agents have been prepared for Dorner to make a dash for the Mexican border since his rampage began.

He said: “This agency has been at the forefront of domestic use of drones by law enforcement. That’s all I can say at the moment.”

So the first use of an unmanned drone strike on American soil to murder an uncharged, un-convicted American is now imminent.

While Dorner may certainly be guilty of the murder of 3 in LA, this incident is without question a lesson in propaganda with the motive being the public’s acceptance of the use of drones in American airspace against American citizens.

The current rulers of the land whose law states that it’s citizens are innocent until proven guilty believe they have the right to end the life of any American at any moment in time.

God help us all.

  1. Drone use like this should have everyone concerned. They try to make look so wonderful and pure. But, in Dec. 2011 buried in the NDAA enacted over Christmas (by both parties and your President) when no one was looking was the funding for the deployment of 30,000 domestic drones over the next ten years.  That is 600 per state. Predators, Reapers, Global Hawks. Things of that nature.  Don’t be worried we are told.  They are only going to be armed with tear gas and rubber bullets (for now).

This is one more step in the total militarization of our police forces.  Notice how cops don’t even look like cops anymore.  They look all SWAT-like in their uniforms and attitudes.  Police departments are now equipped with battle tanks, sound cannons, and microwave guns. All of which have been used domestically.

Our opportunity is with our nation’s Sheriff’s.  Sheriff’s are our only elected law enforcement.  And the only ones stepping up to support our Constitution.

  2. “So the first use of an unmanned drone strike on American soil to murder an uncharged, un-convicted American is now imminent.”

There is no evidence of this whatever.  It is not only possible but quite likely that any drone use in this case will be strictly for surveillance purposes.  The VERY last thing that anyone wants or needs would be for an armed drone to open fire on this man and kill who knows how many innocent people near him.  My thought is that this incident will be used to showcase the use of drones to track and direct LEOs to the location of this perp.  If they can successfully track and capture him, it will be a highly useful publicity piece to show that drone use is a good thing.  Whether it is or not, will depend upon the situation.  Like guns, drones can be use for good or bad purposes.  The technology for either one is not inherently bad. He’s a VERY dangerous man and has, apparently, already killed 3 people and seriously injured 2 others.  He is a menace to society and needs to be stopped BEFORE he does any more damage.  If he can be captured and tried for his crimes, fine, we should do that.  But not at the cost of additional lives.

    • So, if domestic drones are so peaceful, then why did both parties and your President hide legislation to fund 600 per state?  What’s that all about?

    • I don’t recall saying that drones are peaceful, only that there is no evidence that this is a bombing or strafing mission.  It is most likely an aerial photo mission for locating this guy so they can send some cops there to collect him and then use the incident for political propaganda for more drone use.  Sorry for not being appropriately hysterical but will wait for the facts to shake out before further comment.

My president?  Last I looked, I had NO president.  Not having voted for this guy in either 2008 or 2012 and disagreeing with 100% of his policies, he hardly qualifies as mine.

What’s that all about.  Damfino, as they say.  Makes me wonder just how many of those drones will be patrolling the southern US border.  Any?  Lots?  Who knows?  Probably no one who it telling.

  3. Ok, think back to 2005.  Any day, any month.  Now, can you recall ANY data on DRONES IN USA KILLING PEOPLE (for any reason)?  No, didn’t think so.  So, ladies and gentlemen, look how far we have come under this fucking piece of pond scum.  Ready for more? No?  Then just get your EBT and go buy another sixpack and some blow.  Everything is fine.

  4. There are several things that come to mind in this story.  Silver and gold are assets which the government may want.  Drones are just one more instrument of expropriation policy that could be used by a heavy handed government hell bent on cowing the population.
Drones have a bad collateral reputation. Hundreds of children have been killed in Pakistan, Afghanistan and Yemen. Hellfire missiles don’t discriminate.
Cops are being uparmored to a degree never before seen except in SWAT actions. I work with LEO and their full battle rattle is impressive and intimidating.  30 lbs of gear in normal work day wear.  This gear will wear down the cops, none of whom appear to be in the of shape.
Forcing cops to turn on American citizens will result in the same type of PTSD that our 35% of our soldiers have today. Urban warfare pits soldiers or LEO against civilian population. Cops fighting citizens is very demoralizing and the war in the streets is hot enough as is.  Assymentrical warfare in city streets is grossly damaging to both soldiers, cops and civilians.  Why does the DHS have 1.5 billion rounds of JHP 40 caliber ammo? They are being tasked as an internal paramilitary force against the civilian population.  Drones are just one part of the puzzle.  They will be used whenever and wherever needed and will any weapons needed for the task.  If you ‘ve viewed the youtube videos of helicopter live fire in Fla and Tx.  Blanks were used but the visual of a black chopper at 100 feet racing down a crowded parkway, it looked like something out of a movie with the Expendables force.
    Don’t drone me bro.

    • “Hellfire missiles don’t discriminate.”

No, they don’t and they are WAY over-powered as an anti-terrorist tool.  A Hellfire missile has a warhead consisting of about 80 lbs. of C4 or similar military grade explosive.  It is designed to destroy heavy armor, such as main battle tanks, as well as bunkers and other fortified positions.  It does an excellent job of that but it is NOT a sniper round.

  5. It is interesting and quite revealing that this notorious “domestic terrorist” comes from none other than the LAPD. So is this the future? Is this what we can expect by giving up our guns?

I’ve got a better idea, let us keep our guns and disband outdated and over-funded law enforcement organizations.

    One can dream, can’t one?

    • Affirmative action?  On your part or theirs, Charlie?  Good move, though.

Getting the heck out of Calif. is something that I have advocated to everyone I know who lives there or is thinking of moving there. Folks down there haven’t seen anything yet. That place is circling the drain as we speak and it WILL go down the drain one of these days. In fact, when the SHTF, it will likely happen first in selected areas… such as Detroit, Chicago, Newark, and… drum roll… Calif!
