debtwb2The first signs of hyperinflation have arrived.
There was one hugely notable development in the gold and silver markets last week. Normally anytime, Ben Bernanke whispered even a hint or suggestion of QE tapering, the gold and silver markets would crash on such an announcement. However, this time, gold price behavior reacted intelligently to the insanity of Central Banking monetary policy and it ignored the propaganda of Central Bankers and continued to riseWhy is this development so significant? It is massively significant because it signals a further breakdown of confidence in the monetary system.  Every other instance that Chairman Bernanke even hinted about tapering QE, it gave the Federal Reserve and their puppet bullion banks an opportunity to suppress the price of gold that they successfully relished. This time around, I don’t believe that their propaganda was any less effective than all the prior times Bernanke falsely warned about QE tapering. So what has changed? People no longer care what Bernanke and other bankers say about QE because their confidence in fiat currencies, as illustrated by the largest single day drop of the Indian rupee last week, is starting to finally, and justifiably crack. And the first sign of a loss of confidence in fiat currencies and a vote for the solid valuation of gold (and silver) money is the first sign of potential hyperinflation ahead.

Broke nations are bailing out other broke nations with borrowed money.  Round and round we go – where we stop nobody knows.  As of April, 41 different countries had active financial “arrangements” with the IMF.  Sometimes they are called “bailouts” and sometimes they are called other things, but in every single case they involve loans.  And most of the time, these loans come with very stringent conditions.  It is a form of “global governance” that most people don’t even know about.  For decades, the IMF has been able to use money as a way to force developing nations to do what it wants them to do.  But up until fairly recently, this had mostly only been done with poor nations.  But now an increasing number of wealthy nations are turning to the IMF for help.  We have already seen Greece, Portugal, Ireland and Cyprus receive bailouts which were partly funded by the IMF, Spain has received a bailout for its banking sector, and as I noted yesterday, it is being projected that Italy will need a major bailout within six monthsHow long can this go on before the entire system collapses?

bank failure*BREAKING SD ALERT*
Editor note: Bringing this massive story back to the top of the news feed for those who missed it over the holiday weekend.

On Wednesday, SD broke the news that Canada had buried a provision for depositor bail-ins for systemically important banks deep inside its official 2013 budget, and stated that the Cypriot bail-in was not just a one-off event, but is in fact the new collapse template for the entire Western banking system.

We suspected that the same policy change had been made by the US & the UK, but was simply yet to be discovered, buried in the website of a Federal agency.

We suspected correctly…

*BREAKING!
Depositor haircut wealth confiscations have just gone from a one-off in Cyprus to the new thing in 2013.
The New Zealand government is reportedly pursuing a policy of Cyprus style depositor haircuts for all future bank failures!

The plan would not limit the haircuts to any percentage, but would steal whatever is necessary from depositors to prop up the failing bank institution: Depositors will overnight have their savings shaved by the amount needed to keep the bank afloat.

The rule of law in the entire Western financial world is apparently vaporizing faster than the spent fuel at Fukushima.
