  3. I question the “stacker” aspect of this advertisement.   I could understand a “collector” purchasing this item to add to a collection, ignoring the “over spot” price, and shipping/handling/insurance, etc costs.  But WHY would a “stacker” pay an exhorbitant fee for “over spot” silver when he/she could purchase all the “stacking silver” they wanted at pennies over spot, or maybe, like me, pay significantly UNDER spot for silver?  Let’s face it, everyone SHOULD know that “junk” silver, the 90% kind, is a terrific way to STACK at a nominal fee where you get more for your money.

Isn’t the bottom line here (with stackers) accumulating as many OUNCES of silver as one believes they need at a decent price, thereby getting the most (silver) for their (fiat) money?

    • @silverrrrr – it’s ‘Small Stacker Day’ due to the no qty limit for the lowest price tier, as well as the extremely low s/h charge.
And with all respect, $2.99 over spot is hardly an ‘exorbitant fee over spot’.

APMEX sells these in their highest tier (1-19oz) for $4.79 over spot, + $25 s/h.

  4. Doc,

I respectfully withdraw the word “exorbitant” in my post.  I used it not specifically for your ad, but rather to denote a “substantial” amount OVER spot.  You see, I was taught long ago regarding the purchasing of silver for the purpose of “stacking”, that one buys it with the intent to accumulate as much as necessary WITHOUT paying premium price.  What I neglected to mention is how I can accumulate silver without paying high premiums.  In the USA we have pawn shops, coin shops, and businesses that “Buy Gold and Silver”.  These stores GENERALLY pay 90% of spot for gold and silver.  I have contacted a couple close to me and give them routine (weekly) business.  In turn for buying 1000+ in silver weekly, they give me a discount, usually 92% of spot.  It pays and stacks can grow quite quickly.  One last thing, Doc.  I didn’t want to infer any negativity in my post.  I simply LOVE this site.  And the regular posters are SUPERB in their comments.  I wish you and yours a terrific, safe weekend!

  5. With prices like these Brother John is going to be buying his Antelopes from Doc.   That is one beautiful coin

  6. Well, this member of the Silver Doctors’ community has just placed his first-ever order at the SD Store for a stack of Antelopes.  The person who took the order was patient, helpful, and courteous.

Anybody else buying these Canadian Antelopes?
