  1. This is all a dog and pony show… there is no way they’ll prosecute any of the big fish.  Not ever.  Doing so would trigger cascades of rats rushing out of the sewers.  Nobody likes New York rats, they’re ugly mofos….

She is currently chair of the litigation department at Debevoise & Plimpton.
Of which lists the following as clients: AIG, American Airlines, American Express, AXA, BNP Paribas, The Carlyle Group, Clayton, Dubilier & Rice, The Coca-Cola Company, CNN, Delta Air Lines, Deutsche Bank, Gap, Goldman Sachs, Hasbro, International Paper, JPMorgan Chase, Kelso & Company, MetLife, National Football League, National Hockey League, NBC, The New York Times Company, Providence Equity Partners, Prudential Financial, Polyus Gold, Siemens, Shell Oil Company, SONY, Universal Music Group, Verizon, Yahoo!.
The more things change, the more they stay the same.

Broke the NY mob or co-opted them to create staff for the big NY banks and their so-called regulators?

  13. Here is an interesting read on the subject:
    http://www.newyorker.com/online/blogs/johncassidy/2013/01/send-mary-jo-white-to-justice-not-the-sec.html
It seems that BO made the decision two days after a TV show called `Frontline` pointed lots of things out to the masses.
I agree it `may` be a dog and pony show but it may also cause a few chickens to quack like ducks (go figure).

  14. is this supposed to be the joke of the day? lol …  how can one prosecute the mob he works for
