Obama Regime Planting Seeds in Ukraine for WW3 With Russia

Let there be no mistake – the United States is heavily involved in what is going on in Ukraine.
The days of “friendly relations” between the United States and Russia are now gone.  Russia is absolutely furious that the U.S. has fueled a violent revolution on its own border, and it is something that Russian officials will not forget for a very long time.  In return, U.S. officials are taking an increasingly harsh stance toward Russia.  In the end, the seeds that are being planted right now could ultimately blossom into a full-blown conflict between the superpowers in the years to come.
Someday the U.S. may end up bitterly regretting antagonizing the Russian Bear.

From The Economic Collapse Blog:

What the people of Ukraine are being put through is absolutely horrible.  They are caught in the middle of a massive tug of war between the East and the West, and they are paying a great price for it.  Ultimately, Ukraine will end up either being dominated by Russia (a bad outcome) or by the EU and the United States (another bad outcome).  Most Ukrainians just want to be free and want to be able to build a better future for themselves and their families, but it is extremely unlikely that they will be able to escape the specter of foreign domination.  Meanwhile, the violence in Ukraine is planting the seeds for a potentially much larger conflict down the road.

Let there be no mistake – the United States is heavily involved in what is going on in Ukraine.  Even the New York Times admits this.  And the U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine and the Assistant Secretary of State have been caught on tape discussing their next moves in getting a new government installed in Ukraine.

In addition, a number of non-governmental organizations inside the United States have allegedly been assisting and organizing the revolution in Ukraine for a long time.  At least a few of these organizations have ties to George Soros.  This is something that I discussed in a previous article.

Some of the “progressive” NGOs that have been accused of fueling the violent revolution in Ukraine include the National Endowment for Democracy, Freedom House, and the Open Society Foundations (formerly known as the Open Society Institute).

Please don’t misunderstand me.  I am not taking sides.  I am just pointing out that both sides in Ukraine are controlled.  If I was living in Ukraine, I would want both Russia and the United States to go away and leave Ukraine alone.

Instead, Ukraine is being used as a battleground to fight a proxy war between the East and the West.  Now that the opposition has gained the upper hand, it does not appear that Russian officials are in any mood to recognize the new “government”

Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev on Monday saidRussia had grave doubts about the legitimacy of those in power in Ukraine following President Viktor Yanukovich’s ouster, saying their recognition by some states was an “aberration”.

Medvedev also stated that he has “big doubts about the legitimacy of a whole series of organs of power that are now functioning there.”

Last Friday, an agreement was signed by the two sides in Ukraine that was supposed to bring about a peaceful resolution to all of this.  But the revolutionaries reneged on the deal and toppled the government instead.  Needless to say, Russia was quite horrified by this

The Russian Foreign Ministry criticized the West for turning a blind eye to what Moscow described as the opposition reneging on its agreement signed Friday to form a unity government and aiming to “suppress dissent in various regions of Ukraine with dictatorial and, sometimes, even terrorist methods.”

$7.77 ShippingSo what does Russia plan to do?

That is the big question that everyone is asking.

They are not doing much of anything just yet.  But there have been rumors that we could potentially see some economic blowback

Russia and the Customs Union could temporarily limit increased-risk food imports from Ukraine, given fears of loose safety control, said Sergei Dankvert, head of the Russian veterinary and phytosanitary oversight service Rosselkhoznadzor.

“My Belarusian colleague and I are extremely concerned about the situation in Ukraine. We do not rule out that curbs could be introduced on the imports of products of high veterinary and phytosanitary risks from Ukraine,” Dankvert told Interfax after talks with his Belarusian counterpart Yury Pivovarchik in Bryansk, and telephone talks with Ukraine’s Deputy Agrarian Policy Minister Ivan Bisyuk.

Of course what the U.S. government is most concerned about is any military action that Russia might take.

National Security Adviser Susan Rice says that what has happened in Ukraine reflects “the will of the Ukrainian people and the interests of the United States and Europe” and that it would be a “grave mistake” for Russia to get militarily involved.

But whatever happens over the next few days, nobody should think that the Russians are simply going to abandon their interests in Ukraine.  Russia has a very important military base down in the Crimea, and the eastern half of the country is very pro-Russian.

So the struggle between East and West in Ukraine is likely to continue for quite some time to come.  The following is an excerpt from a recent WND article

The issue with Ukraine is whether it will join the E.U. or Putin’s Eurasian Union. The country is roughly divided on this issue between eastern and western Ukraine. The eastern portion wants to remain with Russia while the western side wants to move closer with the West.

In southern Ukraine, where the Crimea is located, Russian influence remains strong.

Because demonstrators who want to see Ukraine lean westward have become emboldened with their immediate success of ousting Yanukovich, it could make it more difficult for them to come to terms with any settlement agreement to reunify the country.

Moscow has a large naval military facility in Sevastopol in the Crimea and recently received a 25-year lease extension to 2042, with another five-year renewal option until 2047. In exchange, Ukraine received a multiyear discounted contract for much-needed natural gas.

And the pro-Russian eastern half of the country is actually the stronger of the two halves economically.  So this will likely complicate mattersfor the EU and the U.S. as they try to bring Ukraine into their sphere of influence…

Seven of Ukraine’s 10 largest private companies by revenue are either headquartered or maintain the majority of their operations in eastern Ukraine. These firms are owned by some of Ukraine’s wealthiest and most influential individuals. Three of these 10 corporations — mining and steel company Metinvest, energy firm DTEK and its subsidiary Donetskstal — are based in the eastern industrial city of Donetsk and are owned by Ukraine’s wealthiest man, Rinat Akhmetov. Interpipe, the company that controls 10 percent of the world market share of railway wheels and more than 11 percent of the world market share of manganese ferroalloys, is based in Dnipropetrovsk and belongs to businessman and politician Victor Pinchuk.

The country’s most important businessmen are embedded in the east, where their businesses make disproportionately high contributions to the Ukrainian economy and national budget.

In the end, this proxy war between the East and the West has left Ukraine with a collapsed economy and on the brink of civil war.

And what has happened in Ukraine has caused permanent damage in the relationship between the United States and Russia.

It won’t happen this month or even this year, but someday the U.S. may end up bitterly regretting antagonizing the Russian Bear.

  1. ….and so, in light of this revelation that the US is heavily involved in Ukraine, which can do nothing less than incense  the Russians, what is it that the Obozo regime does?  Cut military spending and troop levels!!!!! Incredible, no?  Well, my question is:  Where are Obozo and Moochele going after his dismantling of this country?  Where will they live?

    • @silverrrrr

“Where are Obozo and Moochele going after his dismantling of this country?  Where will they live? “

My three guesses are:  1) Zurich   2) Sao Paulo  3) Kenya

      All have their charms.

  2. This is payback for Syria and Putin rubbing KLUMMAC’s nose in his attempt to stir the pot in a Russian territory
The Neo-nazis of the CIA are winning in Ukraine, set to pillage the country like a herd of locusts.  There will be tens of billions of IMF and Eurozone money rotated into the Ukraine via bail-ins of their banks and Eurobanks too boot. The ECB is bankrupt as are most of the EU banks so the pillaging of the Eurozone people’s wealth will be epic and used to pay for
    1.  Bail-ins of Ukrainian banks
    2.  War, either formal and direct or by proxy
The Neo-nazis in the Ukraine that overthrew the elected government, corrupt as it was, are working the plan to destabilize Russia and its oil and gas pipelines to countries in the Russian sphere.  The oil and gas pipelines to Europe that travel through the Ukraine may be old but they are serviceable. The west does not want to see Russian petro-hegemony, Putin wants to control the flow of petro-products.  It is one of their few economic bright spots since  Russia is having its own problems with bank runs and devaluation of the ruble.
Oil wars and currency wars lead to hot wars
Our military industrial complex needs more wars to feed it’s insatiable appetite since we are going bingo on Afghanistan and iraq.  Jaw Jaw is not going to stop War War IMO since we and the west are not in a talking mood. Putin is going to be forced into a corner and he will come out shooting. Maybe not across Ukraine but somewhere where our vital interests are most vulnerable.

    • Like maybe dumping our treasuries?

    • @AGXIIK
You guys are not listening to Jim Willie closely and not paying attention to what he says.  Let me offer my view of what is going on. First of all, you should remember that Russia and China paying the West with their debt papers. So when the news came that Russia pledged 15 billion for Ukrainian bond you guys don’t really believe that they pain in gold, do you? So they returned the US debt in exchange for the Ukrainian debt. Let’s call it a debt swap, new term to use.
So Tymoshenko (who is from the lineage of Abram Kapitelman-as Ukrainian as you can get J) is out of jail. EU can no longer puff their cheeks about human rights violations in Ukraine. They themselves can violate as many rights and as often as they want, but the slaves to the East should not dare.
Viktor Yanukovych, the president, disappeared. Who is going to sign all the papers that Ukraine was forced to sign? So the West is up against a timeout. It’s going to take some time before the new president is elected, right? If Putin is cornered he is going to dump the US debt on the market. According to “V” (see attached link) it is going to take only  2 days to collapse the paper pyramid.

The video cannot be shown at the moment. Please try again later.

From my perspective he should have done it yesterday. Petro-dollar is what finances terrorism and de-stabilisation around the world. By eliminating it, the stream of financing for terrorism, chemtrails, GMO propagation etc will stop. Banksters are not paying their gold for these programs, do you get it? They can only run them for as long as there is paper standard-Petro-dollar.

  3. If a collapse is imminent, maybe they are setting this situation up as the fall guy. Putin sends in Russian troops, and then they concoct a cock bear and bull story about Russia destabilizing the global markets?

    • Agreed. I believe the suppression of Gold and Silver this week, along with the desperate attempt for the US stock market to hit new highs is a FED attempt to say, “well we were saving the day until Russia came along”.

The MSM will push the old Cold War foe as the cause.

NB Last US/Russian proxy war in Georgia in 2008 occurred only months before the market crash….rinse and repeat??

  4. The Lying Marxie Kenyan Usurper Alien Cockroach isn’t “planting any seeds’. How many times must we remind ourselves that he’s a Puppet? Everyone in Congress and the Supreme Court knew he was an Alien, long before he was installed into office by them.

If America and Russia are opponents … why are thousands of Russian Special Forces in America? Because, governments set up false illusions of enmity to co-operate in ‘culling their herds’ periodically, and maneuver splitting up resources for their respective monopoly industrialists.

The Peoples of countries are not foes, all these government elitists are, rather, Mortal Enemies of Humanity generally. The sooner we get that ancient fact seated in our minds, the better life on Earth will become for everyone.

  5. there you go Pat, putting all this kerfuffle in perspective.  Two bears and two wolves, viewing the flock, deciding who gets the white meat and who gets the dark
    Cluck Cluck Motherf***
    dis’ boid be packin’

  6. Ukraine is on Russia’s border and the Russians are not going to give up their interest in it.  Period.
Putin knows the empty-suit American President and ‘horse-face’ John Kerrey will do absolutely nothing more than whine and make noise over this.  Russia WILL send in its military and the US won’t stop them.

    The Russians are PISSED!

    • @Mammoth

      “… ‘horse-face’ John Kerrey…”

I always think of Kerry as the other end of the horse but whatever.  He always reminds me of a mortician.

    • @Ed_B , Ha ha ha!  You shouldn’t insult morticians, though.  They perform a necessary task, unlike whatever it is John Kerry does.

But speaking of horses – the movie remake I really want to see is a Mr. Ed movie.
With the computer animation that is now available, just think of the hilarious facial expressions they can give that horse.
I imagine you are a fan of Mr. Ed aready.

    • @Mammoth

“You shouldn’t insult morticians, though.  They perform a necessary task, unlike whatever it is John Kerry does.”

No insult to morticians intended.  It’s his professional hang-dog look that gets me… like he’s always pretending to be sad for some reason that isn’t particularly important to him personally.

No, not a “Mr. Ed” fan.  I always thought that it was a silly show, so never watched it.  I was more of a “Leave It to Beaver” and an “Ozzie and Harriet” fan.  George and Gracie were good too.   :-)

  7. Could we get a few more parallels with the “fourth turning” of the 1930′s?  Time for the warmongers to start beating the drums and waving flags.  Trouble is, we’re playing with nukes now.  This could get very scary if the eagle starts playing chicken with the bear and/or the dragon.  Sure our economy and our currency are trashed, but we still have a lethal military.  There always seems to be an excuse to use them.

    • @croc987

They might be feeling more than a bit reticent about such antics after putting their hands in the Syrian cookie jar and getting them slapped a bit by a VERY reluctant population.  They will want to be VERY careful about how they trump up the next false flag, else it will suffer the same fate as the last one.

  8. Susan Rice says that it would be a grave mistake for Russia to get militarily involved.  Putin wont get any sleep now, with threats like that.  If I was Suzy, I would tell Vladi to read Ezekiel 38 before he gets too cocky.  I like the way that chapter ends…. v 23: And so I will show my greatness and my holiness, and I will make myself known in the sight of many nations. Then they will know that I am the Lord.

  9. Prometey Bezkrilof
I’ve been a subscriber to Jim Willie’s Hat Trick letter for about 30 months. He references V and Steve Quayle in the Feb Letter
He indicates some of what you note, Russia and China circling the wagons, repudiating the debt and destroying the US Petro dollar complex.  We would attain 3rd world status nearly overnight.  Gold would be a solid part of the new currency.  Russia and China would be ascendant with the Petro Gold as a driver of oil  prices.

    • Indeed, @AGXIIK.  The time IS coming when one will have to pay for REAL goods with REAL money.  It is closer than many think, IMO.  Whether that is with gold, silver, wheat, corn, meat, technology, or anything else of real value, it is coming.  The days of paying people for real things with false paper promises are going the way of the dodo… and thank heavens for it!  It will become a mega dose of reality for all these spendthrift idiots who think that borrowing 45% of every dollar we spend or continuously rolling over all of our $17.5T (and rising) in national debt is a good idea.  It’s not.  In fact, it is one of the ALL TIME dumb ideas.  A solid economy and nation are built on the ideas of 1) work hard; 2) spend less than you make; and 3) save / invest the difference.  THAT is what creates a REAL economy and not some house-of-cards bull-shirt economy.  But, what do I know?  I’m not an economist… and thank God for that!  But I do know what common sense is, what real money is, and the value of our labor.  Many in US leadership positions, unfortunately, do not.

  10. @Ed_B:  Numbers 1 and 2 are definitely out.  They only want pretty people, so that leaves Moochele out big time!  Number 3 is an easy pick, but the Kenyans have to get aligned with income equality, which should be easy since their annual income is currently $730!!!!!!

    I can’t want for Dirt to comment…..

    • @silverrrrr

“ They only want pretty people, so that leaves Moochele out big time!”

Agreed but with millions of dollars to throw around, her looks WILL improve in the eyes of some.   What will be interesting will be to find out whether the Obamas are as free and easy with their own money as they are with ours.  Somehow, I think not.

  11. EdB   Kerry is desperately trying to look like John D Rockefeller or Baron Rothschild   And he is doing a good job.  He looks like a corpse in any case.  I wonder what sort of stem cell culturing he injects to stay alive.  Like Hillary and Soros, these ghouls want to live forever
An acquaintance of mine spends $5000 a month on his injections.  Even though he has been a life long drunk and drug abuser, at 65 he has the physical profile of someone in their 40′s.

    • @AGXIIK

“Kerry is desperately trying to look like John D Rockefeller or Baron Rothschild   And he is doing a good job.  He looks like a corpse in any case.”

LOL!  He most reminds me of Snoopy in the Peanuts cartoons, sitting atop his dog house while pretending to be a vulture.

“I wonder what sort of stem cell culturing he injects to stay alive.”

None.  Like the rest of the elites, they are fueled by super-concentrated B$.

“…at 65 he has the physical profile of someone in their 40′s.”

Right.  But what he doesn’t know is that some of those injections can be doing a lot of damage that is not so visible.  Could turn out to be like a freshly repainted car with a bad engine… looks great but can barely move on its own.

  12. Let’s just look back at previous military attacks by former historic leaders who failed to gain ground in Russia.
    Julius Cesar:                  FAILED
    Napoleon Buonaparte: FAILED
    Adolf Hitler:                    FAILED
But the current president of the United States of America issues a warning to Russia, to not get involved in the Ukraine. Yep, makes sense, NOT.
