Don’t believe your eyes or your ears, because what you saw and heard in the video clip above didn’t actually happen the way it happened according to CNN…

From Mac Slavo:

In yet another embarrassment for CNN, which President Donald Trump directly charged with being fakes news in front of a national audience last month, the network appears to have cut off Senator Bernie Sanders after he attempted to make a joke about the mainstream news channel.

CNN Anchor Erin Burnett: He [President Trump] says he know nothing about it and hasn’t seen any of these reports. Is that a problem?

Sanders: Well, I don’t know. Maybe he was watching CNN fake news… what do you think?

[Erin Burnett Giggles]

Sanders: That was a joke.

CNN’s Erin Burnett: I know it was a joke… You don’t buy what he said, obviously.

Sanders: ummmm….

[pause]

Sanders: Erin?

[pause]

Sanders: Are we on?

Erin Burnett: It looks like we’ve lost connection with Senator Sanders

Watch the video:

President Trump took to Twitter shortly after:

CNN promptly responded, claiming that they did not cut the Senator off:

“Fact checking” website Politifact quickly weighed in:

Trump’s tweet, however, mischaracterized the reality of the Sanders-Burnett exchange. His tweet echoes a post on InfoWars, a website that pushes conspiracy theories.

Here’s what actually happened.

According to the fact checkers, Bernie Sanders’ audio link was not intentionally cut off within seconds of joking that CNN was fake news, because according to CNN, they brought him back after the commercial break, after which there was no further mention of the “F-word.”

In short, Politifact and CNN don’t want you to believe your eyes or your ears, because what you saw and heard in the video clip above didn’t actually happen the way it happened.

  1. Oops. How unfortunate.

Sanders says CNN is fake news… they cut him off.

A banking employee says the banks are doing criminal stuff… they lose their jobs.

A CIA employee exposes government crimes… they go to jail for life.

Doctors/vaccine researchers expose the vaccine-autism link… they get suicided.

This is how the real world works. But you need to escape the likes of CNN first to realize it.

    • IMO, CNN provides some valuable comic relief in this crazy world.  I often laugh my head off at the idiotic things that come out of the mouths of their talking heads.  😀

The sad part of this is when we realize that there are a lot of fruit-loop snowflakes out there who actually believe the crap that CNN spews onto their unsuspecting little world.
