Right now, a massive amount of highly radioactive water is escaping into the Pacific Ocean from the ruins of the destroyed Fukushima nuclear facility in Japan.  This has been going on all day, every day for more than two years.  The enormous amounts of tritium, cesium and strontium that are being released are being carried by wind, rain and ocean currents all over the northern Hemisphere.  And of course the west coast of the United States is being hit particularly hard.  When you drink water or eat seafood that has been contaminated with these radioactive particles, they can stick around for a very long time.  Over the coming years, this ongoing disaster could potentially affect the health of millions upon millions of people living in the northern hemisphere, and the sad thing is that a lot of those people will never even know the true cause of their health problems.
For a long time, the Japanese government has been trusting Tepco to handle this crisis, but now it has become abundantly clear that Tepco has no idea what they are doing.  In fact, the flow of radioactive water has gotten so bad that authorities in Japan are now calling it an “emergency”

War Bird
From The Truth Wins:

Highly radioactive water seeping into the ocean from Japan’s crippled Fukushima nuclear plant is creating an “emergency” that the operator is struggling to contain, an official from the country’s nuclear watchdog said on Monday.

This contaminated groundwater has breached an underground barrier, is rising toward the surface and is exceeding legal limits of radioactive discharge, Shinji Kinjo, head of a Nuclear Regulatory Authority (NRA) task force, told Reuters.

The amount of water that we are talking about is absolutely enormous.  According to Yahoo, 400 metric tons of water is being pumped into the basements of destroyed buildings at Fukushima every single day…

The utility pumps out some 400 metric tons a day of groundwater flowing from the hills above the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear plant into the basements of the destroyed buildings, which mixes with highly irradiated water that is used to cool the reactors in a stable state below 100 degrees Celsius.

Tepco is trying to prevent groundwater from reaching the plant by building a “bypass” but recent spikes of radioactive elements in sea water has prompted the utility to reverse months of denials and finally admit that tainted water is reaching the sea.

And of course all of that water has to go somewhere.  For a long time Tepco tried to deny that it was getting into the ocean, but now they are  finally admitting that it is

Tepco said on Friday that a cumulative 20 trillion to 40 trillion becquerels of radioactive tritium had probably leaked into the sea since the disaster. The company said this was within legal limits.

Tritium is far less harmful than cesium and strontium, which have also been released from the plant. Tepco is scheduled to test strontium levels next.

40 trillion becquerels of radioactive tritium have gotten into the Pacific Ocean?

And that is what they are publicly admitting.  The reality is probably far worse.

And all of that tritium is going to be around for a very long time.  You see, the truth is that tritium has a half-life of about 12 years.

But strontium is even worse.  Strontium can cause bone cancer and it has a half-life of close to 29 years.

And now Tepco is admitting that extremely dangerous levels of strontium have been escaping from Fukushima and getting into the underground water.  And of course the underground water flows out into the Pacific Ocean…

Tepco said in late June that it had detected the highly toxic strontium-90, a by-product of nuclear fission that can cause bone cancer if ingested, at levels 30 times the permitted rate.

The substances, which were released by the meltdowns of reactors at the plant in the aftermath of the huge tsunami of March 2011, were not absorbed by soil and have made their way into underground water.

Subsoil water usually flows out to sea, meaning these two substances could normally make their way into the ocean, possibly affecting marine life and ultimately impacting humans who eat sea creatures.

Cesium has an even longer half-life than strontium does.  It has a half life of about 30 years, and according to samples that were taken about a month ago levels of cesium at Fukushima have been spiking dramatically…

Samples taken on Monday showed levels of possibly cancer-causing caesium-134 were more than 90 times higher than they were on Friday, at 9000 becquerels per litre, Tokyo Electric Power (Tepco) revealed.

Levels of caesium-137 stood at 18 000 becquerels per litre, 86 times higher than at the end of last week, the utility said.

“We still don’t know why the level of radiation surged, but we are continuing efforts to avert further expansion of contamination,” a Tepco spokesperson stated.

When cesium gets into your body, it can do a tremendous amount of damage.  The following is an excerpt from a NewScientist article that described what happens when cesium and iodine enter the human body…

Moreover the human body absorbs iodine and caesium readily. “Essentially all the iodine or caesium inhaled or swallowed crosses into the blood,” says Keith Baverstock, former head of radiation protection for the World Health Organization’s European office, who has studied Chernobyl’s health effects.

Iodine is rapidly absorbed by the thyroid, and leaves only as it decays radioactively, with a half-life of eight days. Caesium is absorbed by muscles, where its half-life of 30 years means that it remains until it is excreted by the body. It takes between 10 and 100 days to excrete half of what has been consumed.

And it is important to keep in mind that it has been estimated that each spent fuel pool at the Fukushima nuclear complex could have 24,000 times the amount of cesium that was produced by the nuclear bomb that the U.S. dropped on Hiroshima at the end of World War 2.

Overall, the Fukushima nuclear facility originally contained a whopping 1760 tons of nuclear material.

That is a massive amount of nuclear material.  Chernobyl only contained 180 tons.

And of course the crisis at Fukushima could be made even worse at any moment by a major earthquake.  In fact, a magnitude 6.0 earthquake hit northern Japan on Sunday.

This is a nightmare that has no end.  Every single day, massive amounts of highly radioactive water from Fukushima is systematically poisoning the entire Pacific Ocean.  The damage that is being done is absolutely incalculable.

Please share this article with as many people as you can.  The mainstream media does not seem to want to talk about this, but it is a matter that is extremely important to every man, woman and child living in the northern hemisphere of our planet.

2013 Silver Maples As Low As $2.09 Over Spot At SDBullion!

  1. this news is so disappointing for so many reasons.  there are quite a few people on this site knows the import of what is happening.   the last action by the Idiot Abe was to put a wall of ice around the pools to contain them.   that’ll work about as well as one ice cube in a cup of green tea on a hot day.
leaving TEPCO in charge of containment and clean up made about much sense as leaving Goldman Sachs in charge of a banking system. They would simultaneously rape the system and destroy it.
PS With the contaminations of the seas by nuclear and petro waste, this makes the Soylend Green movie maybe a bit more prophetic than I can to think of. The nature of what we see produced throught GMO foods, the crap that is sold as food and additives that are injected into everythiing we eat, I suspect that the usual cast of characters knows something is afoot and are preparing for the worst. Soylent Green may not be people, yet, but I did see something at the grocery store that looks like green meat cakes. I think it was Soy but it glowed

  2. I recall some passionate idiots laughing this off and saying it would be no chernobyl. I said it would probably be worse. If the west was half as concerned with dealing with these emergencies as they were about manipulating markets and meddling int he foreign affairs of other sovereign nations we would not be facing a generational disaster.

    • Sadly, the west is seemingly not concerned about anything that ventures out of their reality comfort zone. I believe it is the media’s indoctrination of the people, parroting whatever the demons ask, since the demons also own the media. The psychological denial is similar to a scared child covering their eyes and thinking that makes it all go away. Fukushima, oil covered gulf bottom, crashing economy, all untrue! The news says so!

  3. It is heartening to see that Silver Doctors is one of the few PM sites that is sharing this kind of information with the readers at large.  Ever since March 2011, it appeared this event at Fukushima would prove to be a much bigger deal for the people of this planet to contend with than anyone would have thought at the time.  Where is the United Nations, the World Health Organization, etc, in all of this mess?  Sadly, the truth is being revealed that these institutions were not created for the betterment of mankind, but to control mankind and manipulate it.  This accident at Fukushima could prove to be the catalyst that makes biological life on Earth extinct at some point (if global nuclear war is not started first), but no one seems to be paying attention, because the effects of what is happening are not immediate.  The Earth was designed to handle all kinds of cosmic and natural forms of radiation, but it was not designed to resist the follies of man as represented currently in the handling of the nuclear accident catastrophe that Fukushima truly is.

    • Or just spreading panic when none is needed. Pictures like the one above are created to look sensational… when it is possible that the scale being measured is so small it doesn’t matter. I did alot of searching for that picture and opinions vary so much I can’t figure out if it is something that matters or not. Hard to tell in this sensationalistic world.

    • @Plebian, why would the WHO and the UN do anything about this? It is a windfall for their Agenda 21, or has everyone forgotten about it? This also fits into another Item-Checked in The Bible, where our waters will be polluted and the fish and other living creatures will die, thereby causing more toxin for man and less food. At least, we understand what Radiation nd Radioactivity is, today …. and its effects on us.

    • Barkley; then go buy all the real estate and sea food that you can from Japan. After all, if the data is unbelievable, you will make out like a bandit when it is realized that it was all false.
Yeah, right. I don’t consider Arnie Gundersen as being “sensationalist”. Just google him and read some of his articles about Fukushima.

“Panic” is appropriate when a disaster of significant magnitude is being bungled by those who caused it and results in the contamination of half the planet for thousands of years.

It is better to panic when not needed than to passively allow the the Earth to become a nuclear wasteland. You can quote me on that.

  4. One disturbing aspect of this unfolding mess is the .gov’s refusal to adequately measure & publicize the radiation levels in the ocean off the US west coast, as well as their refusal to monitor the radiation present in seafood products from the Pacific Ocean.
A fact nobody is talking about is that there is now measurably increased radiation along Pacific NW salmon-spawning streams.  Wild salmon are absorbing enough radiation swimming in the Pacific Ocean, so that their decomposing bodies – in pristine locations far from the ocean – are releasing radiation into the local environment.

    • Hi @Mammoth
It is very possible, that dead salmon are transporting radioactive materials absorbed in their travels.
Bears also eating the salmon, and bears doing what bears do (in the woods, no less) and so forth…
If the levels are high enough (who knows? this pic has no scale of rad levels) PLUS it is fake, I’ll make
      my own post about that…
You make good points, I’m not attacking the messenger!

  5. That west coast based motorsailer I was considering is off the list now.
    nyuk nyuk   (not really funny)
The graphic shows a cut-off at the tip of South America, but that water isn’t really contained to the Pacific.  Ya know what’s frustrating?  They could have dumped tons of boron over those exposed piles, damping out the reactions but chose not to do so.
Agenda 21 on the march.  Let’s all die, it’s the IN thing to do.

    • I was gonna post this too, PIC IS FAKE
Tip of South America, the radiation just cuts off,
and also in Baja, Mexico… none in the “bay”
I enlarged it too. It is photo-chopped! But it could be
(prolly is) semi-accurate. Made up for the story, fake
pic with “true to life” data? From memory? Or all Fake?
I heard in the MSM (yuk) that rads were washing up in CA and the west coast…  🙁

  6. This is total bullshit, I am afraid! If Fukushima was real, then why have we not seen reported skyrocketing incidence in the following in the population around the site;
    1. tumors of all types, but especially leukemias and lymphomas in children
    2. congenital malformations in newborn babies
What radiation does is affect DNA. In cells which are not dividing, they may affect one of the 2 strands, but because of body DNA repair mechanisms, this is easy to fix. But, in cells which are dividing (ie. fetal cells in general, and especially bone marrow blood precursor cells), the DNA is frequently in single-stranded form (due to rapid division), and so base and sequence changes due to radiation are not repaired as efficiently, and so malformations and tumors result.
Sure, they could just have printed up a few fake studies showing increased incidence (like most of the BS on the MSM these days), but they haven’t done that, and so we must conclude that in a highly developed society with a great medical and medical research infrastructure, that the incidence is NOT increased, and has not even been studied … ergo, Fukushima, as it is reported in the MSM, did not happen.
If anyone cares to look at the literature on Hiroshima and Nagasaki, and other radiation leaks, there is ample evidence of increased tumor incidence, EASILY WITHIN 2 years of the event.
And, the image used above. They do not say how this was generated. I guess it was just created in photoshop to increase fear, which is what Fukushima is about anyway.

    • @The Doc …. so, I say that my opinion is that it never happened based on lack of well-documented effects of radiation on DNA (ie. lack of increased incidence of tumors and congenital malformations), and you jeer at me based on entirely different matters.
Just maybe, you might respond to my post and restrict yourself to the subject matter. In response to me stating there are no studies on HUMANS documenting increased tumors and malformations in the 2 years 4 months since 11.3.11 (Fukushima), you provide a citation to an article showing ‘deformed vegetables’?? But then, you are not medical are you? Because if you were, and had thought about it, you would at least understand the rationale behind my opinion, and you would not argue the point I have made with vegetable pictures.
You clearly FEEL very strongly about it, but you have not given your opinion as yet. Remember, to debate in the world of educated people, you must give your argument on the specific matter at hand. It is not an opinion to state that my opinion is ‘laughable’.
So, please give your opinion, based on the SCIENTIFIC EVIDENCE in HUMANS, if you have the courage to do so in front of this audience.

    • @The Doc
That ‘tomato’ looks like it came out of a Monsanto lab. It’s the kind of thing they like to rename as a Hybrid variant success story and claim that it contains more bio-matter, thus it can feed more people and it has lots of different colors so it must be more nutritional right?
Thanks for the article, at the end of the day these sorts of things have to affect the economy so even for the more financially minded it is in no way detached from economics.
@Chief  >>>based on the SCIENTIFIC EVIDENCE in HUMANS
You live in a world where any such studies are censored or denounced by institutionalized ‘peer-reviewed’ authorities. There has been evidence for instance that GMOs cause much higher rates of cancer in humans but the only studies accepted by TPTB are industry funded and run. Washington just put an Ex-Monsanto heavyweight in charge of the FDA for Gods sake. A large percentage of the population also think that the 0.0004% trace gas known as CO2 is a ‘pollution’ even though it is plant food and the most important trace gas on Earth, it is also apparently the worlds biggest problem that required lots of Tax$$$ to sort it out. This is the world of Orwells 1984, if you wait until an institutional peer-reviewed paper arose warning you of the dangers of something already occurring you will already be a victim or dead. You have to use your fecking brain. TEPCO was saying that the big explosion we all saw on 13 March 2011 was a little gas explosion, and of course it was a ruptured reactor mixing with the cooling fluid that went CABOOM! In the real world this is called a melt down but you don’t live in the real world.
You live in a world where the Pres can call a War a ‘Kinetic Action’. Where it’s not money printing it is ‘Quantitative Easing’. Where it’s not letting mass financial criminals continue their crime it is ‘Deferred Prosecution’.
If you can’t see that what happened in 2011 was much worse than Chernobyl then I believe flights to the Fukishima area are much cheaper now, and accommodation is easy and cheap to find. Don’t forget the cruise up the West Coast of Japan either it’s a blast!

    • @WillNotBeASlave …. I agree you have to use your brain, and that is what I am doing. There is no way this could be true without tumors and malformations in humans after all this time of a massive radiation release affecting the ‘entire Pacific Ocean’.

  7. If claiming the spill happened is a conspiracy, complete with Tepco actors, …and “conspiracy theorist” (not in league with msm) is quoting greater damage than msm…then is CHIEF suggesting a conspiracy against…er..conspiracy?     ….you lost me on that one Chief!     ….going juuust a bit too far down the rabbit hole for me to follow. 🙂

    • I didn’t say it was a conspiracy; I said that using logic one can deduce that a sustained and massive release of radiation, as reported by the MSM, could not have occurred, due to the lack of documented direct consequences of this on humans (ie. lack of increased incidence of tumors and congenital malformations). These complications followed all other radiation releases in our history, but not (yet) in Fukushima.
I didn’t mention my opinion as to WHY this is, I just stated the deduction above.

  8. When taken in toto. Chemtrails altering the pH of soil and water; GMO’s and their attendant glyphosate(RonundUp) altering the DNA of the organisms consuming the GMO’s & glyphosate perverting the DNA of soil organisms and other plant life; fluoridation of the drinking water dumbing us down; deliberate infection of one million Africans with AIDS; what could be argued was the deliberate destruction the the Fukushima reactors and it is fairly easy to see that the 30 year half life of strontium-90 fits in perfectly with a cull of the planet. From a personal perspective, all I can do is protect myself from what I can and, keep stacking.

  9. But seriously, I myself viewed the image as an artist conception, because it didn’t appear the radiation followed the oceanic currents. (See I’m a merchant marine, we pay attention to these things when at sea) However, reported facts of radiated levels are frightening, and Ive limited my family’s Bering sea salmon intake to one fishy per year since three months after the spill, after reports concluded high mercury and toxins in pacific sea life. I can imagine what it’s like now!

      Thanks @Shamus001
      (Doc and WompCat)
U guys are doing a great job of GETTING US THE INFO!
We can interpret it as a group! THANX!!!

  10. Chief  sometimes it’s hard to find the intel on this.  I’ve been reading the site rense.com   There are many commentators who are finding incidents of children in the immediate area of Fukushima and farther way with tumors and abnormal growth patterns. These symptoms started a year ago with babies coming up with these abnomalities. Youngsters are showing signs of radiological damage.  The sealife in the oceans surround fukushima are also showing a great deal of radiological damage but dead zones are commonplace too.  It has some one the same problems of the oil rig blow out that is still creating toxiclogical damage in and around the gulf coast waters and shoreline.
If a non-expert like me can find and read this material and it causes me gerat concern since a couple of our Russian friends were poisoned by Chernobyl, Fukushima is the gift that keeps on giving the gift of death.  The Japanese and their entire island could come under the most serious contamination. I dont know if the island will be unihabitable but the 4 main problems are
    1. No technology exists to handle anything in this problem ranging from cooling water storage to removal of hundreds of tons of MOX fuel
    2.  All workers exposed recieve their lifetime exposure within a few hours to a few days
    3.  The reactors are all still filled with fuel or contamination and the Bequerels her hour are the higher ever recorded for a failed reactor
    4.   The remediation of this site is estimated to take 40 YEARS, two full generations of Japanese  And that is the optimistic estimate
until then the reactors continue to shed radiation.
If the reactor four storage building collapses, there’s about 400 of MOX fuel that could go all poopy.  This is so toxic that even my posts create less bodily damage after short exposure.  read on at your own risk.

    • @AGXIIK … thanks for your reply. Yes, there is some anecdotal evidence (a case of this, and a case of that, in the area), but there is not a single, properly conducted RESEARCH STUDY on the question. And, this is necessary to say with certainty whether there is, or isn’t, and increase in incidence. These studies take time and need the proper controls (eg. in another Japanese city without such an event, same age and sex, etc). And that is my point. Japan is a highly developed society with huge and refined medical and research infrastructure, and they have contributed an enormous amount of good research to our knowledge of alot of human diseases. Following Hiroshima and Nagasaki, there were several highly in-depth studies on the effects, which revealed tumors and congenital malformations. So, the fact that there is not such a research study in the 2 years 4 months following Fukushima, in the absence of a breakdown in their society and infrastructure, is extremely noteworthy.

    • Ex ept your forgetting one important factor… Case 1 America drops a bomb, knowing the effects, our war enemy took one in the face, nothing to hide here.
Case 2 the Japanese Govt, partner to the U.S. are not prone to admitting folly. There is great consequences politically to be suffered botching this clean up effort. Not to mention global lashback for affecting neighboring countries sea life/food supply. There are only gains to be had by covering up damages! The war was just that… War. People die and suffer in war, that’s understood, and regretfully accepted.
The fact that these obvious truths escape you supports me in commenting no further. I believe you either don’t understand or yo don’t want to understand.nt

  11. I have read that systematic in-depth studies of the Fukushima disaster have been delayed and even prevented from implementation by the Japanese government and TEPCO using MOPE on steroids  I hear the same BS factor is being used at the San Onofre Nuclear plants, a place that has been under scrutiny for decades.  The nuclear industry and its bomb making fuel cartel apprears to be working well in concealing the dangers of nuke power.  I read somewhere that not a single plant has the funding or plans to shut down the plant at the end of its useful life. the the radiation does not stop once the lights go out.
The incredible shame of this is that the japanese islands, the people on the islands and other areas plus most of the northern Pacific ocean are being used from some mad scientist petri dish of some diabolical nature.  What happens is dust in the wind.  I am not sanguine over what will happen. There is not evidence that the risk is being dealt with by parties whose real and vested interested in concealing the incredible lies that appear to be spewing faster than the radioactive water.
My Gieger counter, dosimeters and Potassium Iodide are up to date and readily available if Lake Tahoe starts to glow at night.  Sheesh  What a world.
PS I can’t tell conspiracy theories from bupkis so this is an ongoing story that worries the bejabbers out of me.

    • @AGXIiK  .. so you’re in Lake Tahoe … lovely place for SHTF!! If there can be one 🙂
It worried me too for a long time and I got all the meds ready etc, but looking deeper into it, I realised it did not make sense (like some (many) other events eg. Sandy Hook, etc), and so now I am sure it never happened. So, for me, that is one less thing to keep me awake at night, although I have plenty others, lol.

  12. @underground said…
It is very possible, that dead salmon are transporting radioactive materials absorbed in their travels.
    –  –  –  –  –  –  –
Yes, that was my point!  The radiation contamination from Fukishima is not limited to the Pacific Ocean and the land it borders, but is also being brought inland and spread about.  We can not put this genie back inside its bottle!
@Chief , I may be wearing a tin-foil hat here – but can it be that ‘THEY’ do not want the general population to know about the effect of Fukishima’s radiation on people?  Can the Japanese & US authorities purposely be suppressing information, and not funding studies that would determine how widespread and dangerous the radiation is?  We need to be asking these questions.
After the Chernobyl accident, the Soviets took the people who lived in the contaminated region and resettled them all across the former Soviet Union.  During my many travels to Russia, I once met a family who were moved over 1,000 miles to the east.  They told me the authorities had spread the people around, rather than resettle them all together, to minimize any noticeable ill health effects on the population.  And yet, there was anecdotal evidence that many, many individuals from the contaminated region had cancer and other health problems, which were likely caused by radioactive contamination.
Do you honestly think that the US and Japanese .govs are any more honorable than the Soviet authorities?

    • @Mammoth … Sure, the radiation could be absolutely off the scale, and so they would want to suppress the news about it, but if it were like that, then we would see those tumors and malformations, which are definitely not a prominent feature, so it has to be something else.
Another explanation is that Fukushima is a fake story. There is alot to gain by shaping our reality through fake stories; in this case, I believe it is to create a huge international problem which is clearly unmanageable by the offending country (Japan), and which therefore necessitate a global response. I believe they have done this with alot of things, and the end result after dollar collapse and ww3, will be a false but super-hyped need for One World Government.
So, who would want to do that. Well the same people who own the banks and central banks of the world, also own the MSM. These 2 businesses provide huge global power, and so power may be the motivation. They could, for example, crash all currencies, and then provide fake stories to lead us to ww3, and then later steer us to OWG, again with all the faked up international issues which have been put out there especially recently (eg. Fukushima). There are many such ‘international problems’, which they never stop talking about these days (eg. xyber bullying, hacking, racism, child abuse, gang rape, greed and corruption, incompetent and tyrannical governments (of course, OWG would not be tyrannical / sarc off)).

    • @Chief  >>> Another explanation is that Fukushima is a fake story.
Was the Tsunami a fake story also? … or did ‘they’ already have this fake story scenario script written ready in case a Tsunami was to occur? …or ‘they’ decided within 2 days of the Tsunami that blowing up the spent fuel section (top of the reactor) was a necessary act to pull off in order to make the ‘fake story’ work? The top of the reactor was not there anymore, you do know this?
I know people in Japan and they sure as hell think it is real.
I simply cannot see your critical thinking here Chief … did the Tsunami happen or another fake story?
And also your willing to wait until someone hands you an ‘official’ report that has studied the impact on humans???????

    • @WillNotBeASlave … good question, but it’s not the issue being discussed. But it is surely plausible and feasible for THEM to do a little HAARP and get a nice tsunami going wherever they want. And, then they could mock up the Fukushima story .. maybe it was damaged in the tsunami, but the radiation bit was the faked part … or maybe there was a little radiation which was faked into HUGE radiation … I don’t claim to know the details.
I am not ‘waiting’ for anything .. I am using my brain now with what is presented to us. Sandy Hook is a good example of a faked story with alot of (?deliberate) loose ends, maybe to reveal the method? But, there is strong opinion out there that this was faked for gun control, and alot of interesting information on the internet. So, if they can do it with Sandy Hook, why not with Fukushima. Remember the advantage …. huge international problem which cannot be contained by the country in question (Japan) and therefore an international response is needed (along with all the other international responses needed for cyber hacking, racism, etc, etc)…. enter stage left, One World Government, which just grew out of the increasingly tyrannical United Nations). And, don’t we all know that is the goal of all this shit, OWG and total control of whoever is left.

  13. Well,
this is all really outside my realm of knowledge, but I’ll just say what someone else told me (whether or not it’s accurate … meh who am I to say?).
So, I was questioning an engineering friend who works at the local nuclear energy plant about Fukushima a few weeks ago, and he sort of chuckled and said it really was no big deal. I forget the numbers of the levels of radiation he mentioned, but he said the number of radiation leaked on average every year was “x”, and he said that he was allowed to get that much radiation per month or per week and still be perfectly fine.
He said that Chernobyl was much much worse because it went into meltdown stage, and the men that risked their lives going in there to shut down systems, and the helicopter crews that dumped I forget what, were true heroes, knowing full well it was a death sentence to save many others. They all died of cancer within a few years.
He says that Fukushima never reached meltdown stage, and that the radiation that is leaking is quite minimal.
For what it’s worth. Don’t know if the truth is suppressed or if it’s sensationalism.

    • >>>Don’t know if the truth is suppressed or if it’s sensationalism.
It’s Japan. The truth is suppressed. They also think QE can get them out of their economic problems. It’s amazing how many people can talk like crack heads without even having smoked any crack (I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt on the crack smoking but the crack talk is obvious)
Also people who work at Nuclear plants have a bias towards their own industry … obviously they would downplay any fears about radiation. Chernobyl was not next to an Ocean, so it is not really comparable. They even imported clean food in Italy for almost 6 months when Chernobyl blew. The only thing that saved the Japanese mainland from Fukushima was the prevailing wind … too bad for the whales and sea life though, just collateral damage of course.
There’s a new market for Radioactive Fugu though, they call it Japanese Roulette!

    • It might be close, @Proverbs1616
But I doubt the MSM and government reporting, whether it is Japan or our own NRC, just because they lie so much they have likely forgotten how to tell the truth! But your friend may be getting a pretty much unfiltered accounting, maybe. When I worked with these folks, I was able to converse with them on their level, and that was a surprise to them. But it used to be my #1 passion (science) and nuclear and particle physics were my favorites. I’m into electrical technology now, way off on the cutting edge, or is that “The Fringe”? lol

  14. If there is a 3rd world war and nukes are used, what happens to any nuclear plants that blow up through infrastructure damage or lack of ability to be serviced? There is over 1000 nuclear reactors in the Northern Hemisphere, so how many would it take to turn the whole place into a Radioactive soup where people can’t get to the next reactor to save it from overheating … so that one blows … which makes the next one unserviceable …. etc, like a domino effect? Even in WWII bombing raids there was no Nuclear Reactors to worry about when bombing an enemy … IF the next World War comes, you can kiss the Northern Hemisphere goodbye simply due to the reactors. They are all like nuclear bombs times 1000 when it comes to radioactive matter. They are like big dirty bombs just waiting to blow.
There are only 4 reactors in the entre Southern Hemisphere however, and I have heard (other than ocean currents) that the atmospheric mixing separates the weather patterns quite a lot at the equator. Chileans or Australians look like they get a little longer than the rest in that scenario, but it would be a Book of Revelation scenario for sure.

    • @WillNotBeASlave …. yes, that is the propaganda, but I believe it is more optimistic (in a way) than that. The MSM will make it look like a Revelation movie when ww3 begins, but whoever is behind this (a discussion for another time 🙂 ) does not really want a world full of radiation (if I was behind it, I sure would not want loads of radiation left either) (we know this because preservation of the environment and animal life is also important – well the environment and animals do not use any money, and so to crash the money kills humans without killing any other life, in fact it helps environment and animal life). Also, there are mushroom clouds which are not nuclear bombs, and so these can be made to look like the real McCoy by the MSM.
What they really need is multiple reasons for the 95% human die off which will happen, APART FROM THE DOLLAR COLLAPSE (which will kill many humans by itself), over which we all know they have total control, so they will not be held to blame for the cataclysm. And the nuclear angle is one such initiative. There are other promotions, like pole shift, global coastal event, Nibiru, 2 suns, etc, etc, put out there for the same reason, IMHO.

    • @WillNotBeASlave
You may know this, but there are no current or past designs of reactors that I ever knew of that would “BLOW” like a nuclear warhead. The way a containment dome can blow is to have a buildup of Hydrogen gas that is ignited somehow, and, as I understood, what happened @ Fuki. Most reactors that “the West” has (and had) were simple mid-grade types that take uranium fuel rods, allow them to degrade to simpler lower grade radioactive elements, and give off huge amounts of heat in the process. This is converted to steam thru a heat exchanger, which drives a turbine connected to an electrical generator (actually an ALTERNATOR, AC Current) Older, but more efficient models did not have a heat exchanger, but circulated radioactive steam directly unto the turbine blades! This made for more human exposure to radiation, through more radioactive parts needing maintenance. I know lots about the subject, (worked at a nuke, studied it as a youth, wanted to be a physicist) but my knowledge may be a bit out of date. Unless you factor in the fact that NO NEW NUKES have been built in the USA for many, many years, and the industry is pretty locked into the tried and true…
I said all that to say this: I’m not buying into any Hype or BS about this, and if I see any, I will try and call it out. Just trying to “keep it real” as far as this topic goes. SD is doing pretty well, as far as I can see!

    • @undeRGRound
I didn’t mean ‘Blow’ in the conventional sense … I should have said containment breach and meltdown.
I’m not trying to add to the Hype, but I do see down the track that 1000nuke-reactors in the N.Hemisphere will be a drastically different affair when the World War (the the War Pigs seem destined to have…again) comes, as these things need to not be targeted directly and also still maintained to prevent a domino effect of radioactive fall out which would spread much further than the national boundaries in the countries where they ‘Blow’ (I did it again :] it takes too long to type ‘breach of containment’).
@The_Doc A World War is the BIG issue when it comes to nuclear power IMO, and it is almost never covered by anyone … HEY DOC, YOU SHOULD DO A PIECE ON THAT ONE!!! :]  Pleeeaase!

    • It’s all good, Friend!
I just used that opportunity to lay out a little real data. SD as a whole is doing well,
but FACTS never hurt a discussion LOL! You always make pertinent posts…  😀
Most of the general population goes totally off the deep end in regards to Nuclear Energy.
