In the latest Keiser Report, we peer into the British future and see a future of scum villages and royal baby Snookies as Bank of England executive, Andy Haldane, says the loss of income caused by banks is as bad as World War 2. The Artist Taxi Driver explains what austerity means to the UK. And, while admitting the nation’s wealth has been lost to banker crimes, the cover up continues as Lord Stevenson, formerly of HBOS, claims it was mere incompetence that saw the bank nearly collapse. In the second half, Max Keiser talks to Tim Street of UK Uncut about the protest group’s successful campaigns against Starbucks and other multinationals. They also address how to stop every new tax dollar being sucked straight into the black hole of bank’s fraudulent debt schemes.

  1. Again, the second half guest choice is very curious for me. Some guy who contrives a little group to help governments squeeze the most taxes out of businesses (it makes no matter ”big’ or ‘small’) and he’s lionized in this show? What’s so great about that?

Collusive businesses favored by Mercantilist governments don’t actually pay taxes, they’re tax COLLECTORS. Whatever amount of taxation that jeopardizes their operations is ‘exempted’, or ‘defered’, or ‘offset’ through convoluted, impenetrably obscured statutes. Only those businesses marked for anti-competitive destruction are harassed and dogged for ever greater taxes, regulations, rules and myriad  ‘compliance’ hurdles.

Max Kaiser CAN’T be so dull as to miss this irony embedded in the ‘tax the rich’ meme. So, how is it that he reviles ‘takings’ carried out on the stage of ‘financial services’ (equally abetted and nurtured by Mercantilist government, we should also note), yet turns round to warmly invite this little propagandist ‘green-shirt’ agent of harangue?

Theft, deception and deprivation carried out on rightly deserving innocent individuals is certainly a matter for discovery and broadcast display … whether conducted by financial institutions OR governments acting under the guise of ‘social consciousness’.

Call me a ‘blasphemer’, but I’m watching a clear pattern of subliminal implanting, whereby ‘wealth distribution’ to a PARTICULAR TYPE of ‘disadvantaged’ government sycophants, through tax theft is being subtlely glorified on this series.

    • Mercantilist governments are bad because since they are the tax collectors and since they don’t pay taxes, they don’t know how hard it is to give away your dollars like that so they don’t spend our dollars wisely.

    • @Sumkid

Mercantilism is chiefly characterized by government taking control of commerce through its Treasury, permitting favored industries to expand by force if necessary (see: Opium Wars) The Ideal of the American Revolution promotes the ‘new order’ of  thoroughly private commerce, where government’s role is as an Ambassador rather than Negotiator. In the Ideal, government promotes political comity between countries to allow their free private commerce its most conducive environment.
