“Gimme two, beat ’em up, with white wrappers”…
How does that saying go: (para phrased…I don’t remember the words)…
Once is an accident/chance –
Twice is coincidence –
Third time is BS….something’s happening, eh?…
One of these days, you’d think some one is going to get pissed and start throwing things back…
someone better get a tighter leash on those spooks…they are hogging all the fun!

The American CIA has been real busy lately. Do those guys get overtime?

s’est…..?
silverine says:
OK Massive seems a bit of an overstatement to me from the pictures on line. Quite boring by recent standards.
Heavens! I just realised it is now Shemita month in the UK. We have less than thirteen days until something happens or doesn’t happen, as the case may be….
..Will London continue the market falls of Monday? The exchange was closed Monday for a bank holiday.
ART005 says:
Are you asking for a translation? Pretty obvious: The explosion was produced in the village of Dongying, of Shandong province at 11:25 pm local time.
Are you surprised French people use Twitter?
SilverSoldier says:
This ends one of two ways and both are bad:
1. The Chinese need to stop accepting crates from the US (thanks for dumping another $100 billion of treasuries on the open market and causing the Fed to buy them up <hint of sarcasm>) How the hell are we suppose to run these gigantic budget deficits even at 0%. Now you guys are selling??? Geez.
2. The Chinese are pulling a rope-a-dope and are going to blame this on scenario one and other events in the South China Sea and claim its time to go to war! They will put pressure on Obama because they know he is weak and has been throughout his tenure. He can’t sacrifice this kind of conflict on his watch. He won’t do it. Not overtly. He don’t got the cojones. He’s the new Caitlyn Jenner!!!
MontanaMel says:
AND….he sucks used Chinese rope behind the pump house.
mvd1974 says:
Someone needs to ask the guy who took the picture of the explosion. He happened to be taking a photo of the plant just as it exploded???
TheRedPill says:
You guys are nuts.
Wait until it hits the 11 O’clock News to get the Real Story.
You all know damb well our TV’s will never lie to us.
Wait ’till it’s on CNN/FOX to get the (cough) the real Truth!
Oh, and Blame it all on China too!
Tyrone says:
I saw this in Under Siege 2. Where the hell is Casey Ryback!!!
Under Siege 2:Travis Dane destroys the Chinese chemical plant
.
Ed_B says:
I’m wondering if some of these explosions have been arranged by the people running those chemical storage warehouses to cover up their economic crimes before the China Gov discovers what they are really up to. This could be a scam, like those who have a money-losing business but good insurance sometimes try to pull.
Strateg says:
Ah, Micro-nukes… *eeeeh* *cough, cough*
Nothing to see here! *hehe*
Go back to sleep! Marry! Reproduce! Do not question authority!

Answer: No. I was querying the “s’est”. I believe I understand the French and that in effect because of the use of the reflexive pronoun “se” the statement is to the effect that: “The explosion produced itself”. However my grammar isn’t that good so my query is ambiguous, i.e.
1) Is my interpretation correct?
2) If so, the literal interpretation of the Twitter statement is that the explosion was accidental. In view of recent events I am querying that also.
Somewhat involved I am sure you will agree.
silverine says:
ART005, Are you a native French speaker? If so (and if my literal interpretation is correct) this suggests you are mentally translating the French into an english thought form directly and bypassing the reflexivity. That is very interesting as it suggests thought forms are common to French and English and quite possibly the entire human race. This would mean that we all have a language interpreter which maps grammatically expressed words into the common thought forms we all understand.
On the other hand you could be an American….
I do not use Twitter by the way and I had thought the French would have more taste!
Ben Gunn says:
Words have no meanings. The meanings are inside the brain of the speaker & listener. And in todays world, they get there mostly by brainwashing institutions like public school, mass media, and brainwashed parents. As described in Orwell’s “1984”, controlling the language is controlling the thoughts.
That’s why it is usually pointless to argue with religious fanatics of all kind(Christian/Muslim/Leftist/ClimateChangers, etc.). Their image of words like “God”, “Government” or “Carbondioxide” is totally different from yours.
BTW, other languages families have very different structures, and means of forming sentences and correlation – like the finno-ugric, and the chinese language.
