Former President George W. Bush reportedly voted for Barack Obama accidentally today in Texas.
Bush stated the mistake was made because ‘everything was very mismaladjusted on the screen. You shouldn’t put the senators and the congresspeople and the presidents all jumbled together like that. It’s too crowded. Just confuses folks.

You might be wondering why Bush didn’t simply correct his mistake once he noticed? Well, that would be due to the fact that he attempted to ‘cast away‘ his accidental vote for Obama by selecting Cast Your Ballot.

As the Daily Currant reports:
A reporter who witnessed Bush’s debacle inside the polling center ambushed the former President as he was leaving:

Barred by ethics rules from using knowledge gained within a polling station, Everett waited for Bush to leave the facility and ambushed him with a trick question designed to fool him into revealing the news himself:

“Mr. President Fox News is reporting that you’ve accidentally voted for Barack Obama. Would you care to comment?”

Thinking that his mistake had already been found out, Bush sought to minimize the damage:

“Yes unfortunately because of the incompetence of the folks who designed the ballot, my vote counted for the other guy,” Bush responded.

Speaking of incompetence, after realizing his mistake in selecting Obama, Bush attempted to ‘cast away’ his mistake by selecting Cast Your Ballot:

Bush then explained that after marking the wrong candidate, he sought to correct his error by clicking the red “Cast Ballot” button, thinking that it was designed to ‘cast away’ the ballot and bring up a fresh one:

“Usually red means stop and green means go. I thought I was stopping”

In response to the unfortunate event, the former President and 1st lady reportedly have plans to launch the The George W. Bush Center for Kids Who Can’t Read Ballots Good and Wanna Learn to Do Other Stuff Good Too:

In an official statement released shortly after the event, former President Bush said his experiences today have inspired him to make electoral reform the signature cause of his post-presidency:

“Laura and I will be dedicating the next few years to fixing our electoral system. Every American deserves a clear, simple ballot when they go to the polling place.”

It appears that the manufacturer of the voting machine in question begs to differ with Mr. Bush on the competence level of those designing the machines vs. a certain former President attempting to cast his ballot:

“Until today we have never had a single instance of someone confusing the “cast ballot” button for a “cast away ballot” button. This is a problem unique to Mr. Bush, and we have no plans to change our machines.”

    • The fact that this dolt was voted into the top job in politics says it all about the system. From presidents right on down to the voters, the system is designed to bring out the lowest common denominator. We just did it again. We’re screwed and by the looks of it will continue to be. Lube up!

    • People voted for Bush twice because the alternative was even bigger morons and crooks AlGore (one word) and Kerry! Who would have exelerated the criminal bank takeover. Remember it was  Clinton/Gore that got Glass-Stiegall act repealed. Truth is we are screwed every election! But we have kept our 2nd amendment, so far. Only two presidents have tried to stop these bankers in the last century, Reagan and Kennedy and both were head shot!

    • Don’t look at me because I’m not even allowed to vote, look at the sheeple who looks like brainwashed dull zombies!

By the way, when did Reagan received an head shot? I never heard of that. But Kennedy sure did receive it. Because of that, I have a feeling that there will be multiple assassination attempts on Ron Paul if he ever becomes the American president.

    • The biggest a$$hole between those that you’ve mention is Richard Nixon in my opinion. Props for the guy who turned the US dollar into fiat along with all other currencies around the world (sarcasm)!

  1. I am not going to presume that I know the truth when I wasn’t there and don’t have any real facts. I do assume that any dumb ass can use a computer these days and GB has to be more intelligent than the average idiot that has no problem using one. He was probably being truthful about his encounter, which is a mistake when dealing with the media and a public that is looking for any little thing to put him down. As always, I vote straight ticket Libertarian since I have principles and still have faith in the wisdom of the founding Fathers. I can still tell the difference between what is good/evil, right/wrong, at least my version of it. Most people chose to vote for the lesser of the two evils, not based on principle but on their skewed perceptions stemming from emotion and not logic.

  2. Why is it that each time I hear about Baby Bush he just seems to get smaller and smaller in my estimation.  In his 8 years he managed to get us into 2 hot wars, signed off on the TSA and Patriot Act and left the Wall Street Banksters and other collective idiots to run rampant.  We see the results.
An now we have another amiable dunce in the position to give us  4 more years of the same thing; the fiscal undermining of this country coupled with an export of our bad monetary behaviour to the rest of the world.  At least BHO won’t have Bush to blame for the last four years.  When 50% of our population gets free stuff we see the results reflected in the election.

  3. It looks like George W. Bush still hasn’t changed. He was an idiot before, he is still an idiot now. Ron Paul should cast the “The Ron Paul Center” for former presidents who are bad such as George W. Bush. I really want to see his reaction when the media announced that Barack Obama is the winner. LOL!
