Geithner Admits Under Oath He Failed to Report Known LIBOR Fraud to the DOJ

Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner was forced to admit under oath during his July 25th testimony that he failed to report known LIBOR mis-reporting fraud to the DOJ.
When pressured by Congressman Brad Miller, D-NC, who asked Geithner about his 2008 report on LIBOR , Geithner admits he was aware that criminally fraudulent LIBOR submissions were made, and yet he did not report any of the criminally fraudulent occurances to the DOJ.

Full interrogation below: fast forward to 3:30 mark for the fireworks:

  1. I say: silver lamp post and cannabis rope….

  2. I heard Geithner comment on a TV news show that he did not report this to DOJ because there was no legal requirement for him to do so.  This is what we get when we vote in people who do not know what it means to have ethics.  They tend to appoint others who also do not understand ethics and the great importance that they SHOULD have in a person’s life.  In their tiny little minds, if it is legal it is OK.  If they deem it necessary and it is not legal, well, that’s OK too because the ends always justify the means.  :-(

  3. WOW!  Comment posted in 4 seconds and not the usual 20!  Excellent job, Doc.  THANKS!  :-)

  4. The Ad covers up half the video Doc and can’t be turned off.  The video loding is much improved however.

  5. Geithner is kind of small potatoes (pun intended) now.  Have you heard about the new sexual harrassment lawsuit against Chaz Napolitano?  Apparently one of her drones is a sexual female predator   and going after the guys.  Kind of like she was let loose on the boyz since Chaz likes women more and wants the men in her department humiliated  chased off by this female predator.  All the while, Chaz’s female ‘friends’ get the cushy jobs vacated by the men driven from those jobs.  Not that this will amount to much but it reminds me of Hermann Goering and his escapades.  The DHS is much like the Waffen SS if you ask me.

  6. These guys can admit their error, but there is no punishment for the crime.  Banksters = Crime Pays

  7. This reminds me of the Chicago era of Al Capone.  The criminals ran free and were finally brought to justice  by Elliott Ness and the Untouchables.  Now its the bankers running free , untouchable, and all we have is Ellliot Spitzer.  Lotta help there.  All Spitzer’s  interested in is $4,000 a night hookers.

  8. In his mind Geithner works for the best interest of the global central bankers, not necessarily the best of the United States.  You have to understand that central bankers and remember Geithner ran the NY Fed before becoming Treasury Sec view governments and politicians as idiots(I agree with that part) and have created a system that literally places themselves above the law.

  9. Turbo tax Timmy is too big to jail.

  10. Folks who don’t examine how the banknote monetary scheme is constructed, attribute these events to corruption alone. However corrupt they genuinely become, their behavior is all derived from that originating structure they’re frenetically trying to keep from exploding in their faces. Central banks EXIST to control current interest rates. That’s the ONLY tool they have to prevent their wonderful ‘money machine’ from inflating into oblivion. Nevertheless, ‘zero’ and even NEGATIVE current interest rates can’t offset the exponential growth of currency-debt, each magnifying the other to ever greater and greater extents. The thing is going to blow and there’s nothing they can do to stop it.

    • Fiat money is one big pyramid scheme.  The problem is that if the base ever contracts the entire pyramid rapidly gets top heavy and is set for collapse.  Just physics.
