Financial Panic Fears Escalate as Russian Bank Halts All Cash Withdrawals for 1 Week!

Financial crisis fears are spiking this afternoon as one of Russia’s largest 200 banks by assets, ‘My Bank’ has reportedly halted all cash withdrawals for one week.
Officials of My Bank have refused to comment after news of the bank halting all withdrawals was leaked early Monday by a call center employee.

On the heels of HSBC refusing to allow customers to withdraw funds without an explanation of what they intended to use the funds for, and JP Morgan’s initiation of capital controls in October when the bank banned all outgoing international bank wires, the My Bank news is simply the latest sign that something is very, very wrong with the banking system.

Bloomberg broke the story,

Lender has introduced complete ban on cash withdrawals until end of week, news agency reports, citing unidentified person in call center.

Bank spokeswoman declined to comment by phone

  1. Oh Happy, Happy Horse Shit, The Russians are coming!!!!!

  2. There are going to be some winners & losers in this RESET, what side of the fence are you going to be in?  There is a boy wonder who made up these wonderful ideas, but who?
On other news, there are going to be 2 commercials during the Presidential Banstanding tonite, but I’m going to be busy at a bitcoin get to get to gather with Andreas M Antonpulous to venture into competition.  So if you are watching the game tonight, please make note the gooverment wants to take your guns, + make you poor & have you dependent on their scraps.

    • IOW, nothing at all new in this photo op, er, State of the Union address.  If the prez were to actually give us the true state of the union, THAT would be worth watching or hearing… for once.

As for myself, I will be productively engaged in rolling a bowling ball.  :-D

  3. This story seems like the Chinese story that came out, was shown to be false, and was retracted.  Is this just the Russian version or is there an inkling of truth in this one?  Hard to say these days.  But know this… when SHTF comes, it does not knock.  It just kicks the door, tosses in a grenade, and comes in firing on full auto.  Anyone waiting for a warning before they start prepping or stacking WILL be surprised.

    • These banks troubles and changes are the warning, those who ignore it will be the ones in fema camps begging for food as they perform slave labor

    • This is my biggest beef with this site, lots of good news but with no filter you get a sort of ‘boy who cried wolf’ effect.

    • @MaryB

“These banks troubles and changes are the warning…”

Yes, that is part of the warning but there is a lot more to this than just the banks and the results of their idiotic financial behavior.  How long have we known that the banks are screwed up?  Since at least 2008 when Lehman Bros. blew up and other banks had to be “rescued” from their own financial stupidity.  This did not make them smart, however, it only convinced them that they could continue to take excessive risks and pass the costs along to the tax-payers… but not the profits, if any.  It also convinced them that it was easier and more profitable to get in bed with the Gov, getting free or nearly free money from the Fed and using most of it to buy UST paper.  Some also went into the stock market to levitate it to show “how well the economy is doing”.

This is true of the entire Internet, IMO, as well as virtually all other potential news sites, so get a good B$ filter and have it in place when reading this stuff.  It really is like mining for gold… lots of gravel, mud, and sand with only a few nuggets.  It is still quite valuable but good filtering is a must.

    • Know this is old but a good way to learn to filter BS is to go read Lunatic Outpost and Godlike Productions. Once you get past all the tin foil hat types there are nuggets of news on there. I can scan through both in about 20 minutes picking out the good stuff to read later

As we warned international banking executives last night, when the only thing standing between some truth and a criminal bank is you, you’ll likely end up like these men. Because dead men tell no tales.]

    • “Because dead men tell no tales.”

Not intentionally, but to a forensic scientist, dead men have plenty to say.  ;-)

  5. Lest we forget where the true initial thrust toward ‘Central Banking’ in pure credit came from …

Centralization of credit in the hands of the state, by means of a national bank with State capital and an exclusive monopoly.” –5th Plank of the Communist Manifesto

Making me wonder, for many years now, if ‘The Fed’ wasn’t actually instituted more as a defensive construct by force of circumstance.

“Making me wonder, for many years now, if ‘The Fed’ wasn’t actually instituted more as a defensive construct by force of circumstance.”

I don’t know, Pat.  From what I have read about the Fed, they seem much more offense oriented than defense oriented.  I do know that they have utterly failed at their stated mission but that they have performed their unstated mission flawlessly.  Their unstated mission is to protect the big NY banks and their profitability.  They have done that superbly.  As to protecting the value of the dollar or maintaining employment levels, well, that seems a complete disaster.  I’m pretty sure that you have a lot more to say on this, so eagerly await your proclamations.

    • Ed_B … “they seem much more offense oriented”

What’s that maxim of conflict? ‘A good defense is a strong offense?’

I had said ‘wondered’ with perfect intent, because it did quickly turn ugly … after … the First World War and has grown worse so, since. Also, it can be noted that the original FRNs were denominated in the tens and hundreds of thousands of ‘dollar’ credits for use by government, banks and business corporations only.

Anyway, no one (you, Ed, mostly, having become very familiar with my positions) ought to imagine I even … remotely … look for extenuating or exonerating ‘reasons’ to see the Fed as having become anything but a thoroughly lawless criminal enterprise which, ideally, should never have been anything more than a very temporary measure to face down the paper-credit threat of the Commies, confined strictly to inter-governmental necessities and their corporate chartered business sycophants.

    • I think the best maxim is “Why does a Dog lick his Balls? Because he can!” The Fed is just the best licker.

The Central Banking model however was born in the 1690′s in the City of London with the BOE, and was technically a Private Cartel that all of the Imperial/Merchant Companies connected their Credit Networks to … if this had never happened then there would never have been a British Empire, so you could say that He who dares, wins … so the Fed being technically owned Privately is still not what Marx was suggesting, but the Centralization part is an unavoidable bi-product of Globalization whether fascistic or communistic. The fact that the Govt is force feeding the Fed with Paper to fund the Leviathan and the fact that the owners of the Fed need the Govt to protect themselves from the People, I would say this is more of a Symbiosis of Fascism and Communism… heck it was National Socialism, so it wasn’t exactly Free Market Capitalism… I really can only see a very cosmetic difference between Communism and Fascism, and perhaps Communism was only even Fascism hiding behind Marx’s Intellectual (if you could call it intellect) jibber-jabber … lipstick for the Pig.

Banksterism is inevitable IMO, it’s like a forest fire … it is going to happen at some time, you just need to run and wait until the fuel has burnt out. The fuel for Banksterism is Mass Human Ignorance, and I don’t see this changing as it is part of Human Nature unfortunately, so what is happening is clearly inevitable. Once burnt the forest will grow again, and in the future another fire will occur. This current fire however looks pretty critical, and TPTB will try to use its severity to get a United Nations with TEETH … some kind of one world financial ‘Order’ will be announced, and any country that objects will be embargoed and cut off from the rest (which will trigger a war for sure) the same cleptocrats will run it of course, but they will cull many of the underlings and middle management that they no longer need as the true wealth (fictional ‘legal’ ownerships of titles, and Human Chatels or on-the-Books-Debt) has already been stolen and hyper consolidated.

      This reminds me of a history lesson;
Gen 47:14  And Joseph gathered up all the money that was found in the land of Egypt, and in the land of Canaan, for the corn which they bought: and Joseph brought the money into Pharaoh’s house.
Gen 47:15  And when money failed in the land of Egypt, and in the land of Canaan, all the Egyptians came unto Joseph, and said, Give us bread: for why should we die in thy presence? for the money faileth.
Gen 47:16  And Joseph said, Give your cattle; and I will give you for your cattle, if money fail.
Gen 47:17  And they brought their cattle unto Joseph: and Joseph gave them bread in exchange for horses, and for the flocks, and for the cattle of the herds, and for the asses: and he fed them with bread for all their cattle for that year.
Gen 47:18  When that year was ended, they came unto him the second year, and said unto him, We will not hide it from my lord, how that our money is spent; my lord also hath our herds of cattle; there is not ought left in the sight of my lord, but our bodies, and our lands:
Gen 47:19  Wherefore shall we die before thine eyes, both we and our land? buy us and our land for bread, and we and our land will be servants unto Pharaoh: and give us seed, that we may live, and not die, that the land be not desolate.
Gen 47:20  And Joseph bought all the land of Egypt for Pharaoh; for the Egyptians sold every man his field, because the famine prevailed over them: so the land became Pharaoh’s.
Gen 47:21  And as for the people, he removed them to cities from one end of the borders of Egypt even to the other end thereof.

    • Thanks, Pat.  Now that is more like it.  :-)

Agreed, Pat, but… once that darned camel’s nose gets under the tent, there’s nothing temporary or limited about it.

I have a beef with you about your complaints re this site

Doc developed this site about 3 years ago, supported by his hard cash own dollars and enormous amounts of time that he devoted outside his full time job.   The efforts of the people who frequent this site also contributed hundreds of hours to make it one of the best on the web. I consider this site and The News Doctors one of my  part time jobs.  That’s how serious I consider the message we try to put out here.  This site is attacked regularly by some pretty nasty people.
That tells us this site is getting under the skin of TPTB.  We could remain silent and do nothing to help people wake up from the Maxtrix slumber, or we can shout it out from this bully pulpit and make or voices heard.  You are either part of the solution or part of the problem. There is no middle ground in this war today, none whatsoever.  Failing to take up the torch  WILL ABSOLUTELY LEAVE YOU AS ROAD KILL.
I have an idea that you are intelligent and able to think for yourself. Weeding out the dross from the gold is a skill set you possess.  Please do so. Up your game and quit bitching.
There is a paucity of real hard data out there so it is incumbent on the intelligence of the readers to sort out the wheat from the chaff and make substantive contributions where possible. This is not said to drive one from the site. It’s said to ask that you and other make sure you put your game at a high level. The people we face are not mediocre. They are playing for keeps and mean us harm. They bring their best game to the streets every day. We need to be better than them in all matters vital to our wellbeing. Playing small ball won’t cut it.
If you want something that amounts to predigested pablum,  pre-chewed by some high prices data shill who charges you and other readers $500 a year for their spewage, then open your wallet and buy that service.  I, for one, have fired about $2,500 worth in annual cost of people who are either clueless about the subject yet talk their crap to the unsuspecting, non-critical thinkers or try to speak in hushed conspiratorial terms about the special knowledge they have.  They leave me cold.  Their ignorance is now palpable. They spew garbage and shill for idiots. I fired the Wall Street Journal due to their obeseisances to the evil men and women in this world. To me they are little more than a coopted arm of the Cointelpro agit prop disinfo MSM.
I give no money to the likes of them.
I will donate to SD and buy from them to support their cause. I donate to Turd, Ann Barnhardt, Bro Jo and others so they can continue the fight.
If you want the Wizard of Oz to blow pixie dust up your gumstump and call it breakfast, then so be it.  Otherwise, don’t bite the hand that offers you a place to gather intel, use your head for something other than a place to put your chapeau and accept the site for what it is. I don’t mean this as a specific criticism of you in particular.
This is place where like minded people can gather, give and get some good intel on these vital subjects. This site leads with it’s left, hits with it’s right hand haymaker, keeps the MSM on its back foot more often than not with some great bobbing and weaving that would be the match of Sugar Ray Leonard at his best.
Sites like Silver Doctors  and New Doctors changes the theme of the MSM, forcing these people to take their lead from the Alternative News sources.  SD, TND and their like minded confederates drive the news cycle, often 2 hours to 2 days ahead of the MSM news outlets.
Don’t kill good and great for perfect  It is not out there. The only PERFECT is what you create between your ears.
