Bank of America Revoking Accounts With Clients Who Manufacturer Firearms

In what can only be a trade-off in exchange for a political guarantee of future bailouts in exchange for the bank toeing the line with the current fascist administration, Bank of America has begun revoking and closing accounts with clients involved with firearms manufacturing.

BOA Sr. VP Ray Fox met with McMillan Firearms Manufacturing this week to inform them their accounts and lines of credit were being terminated upon an ‘account analysis’ that determined their business had changed from a supplier of accessories to that of a firearms manufacturer.

We have a feeling this could rapidly turn into a PR nightmare for BOA.

*Update:
Our friend SGT has also released an excellent interview with Kelly McMillan of McMillan Group International regarding the incident, which is included below:

Phoenix, Arizona --(Ammoland.com)- McMillan Fiberglass Stocks, McMillan Firearms Manufacturing and McMillan Group International have been collectively banking with Bank of America for 12 years.

Today Mr. Ray Fox, Senior Vice President, Market Manager, Business Banking, Global Commercial Banking came to my office. He scheduled the meeting as an “account analysis” meeting in order to evaluate the two lines of credit we have with them. He spent 5 minutes talking about how McMillan has changed in the last 5 years and have become more of a firearms manufacturer than a supplier of accessories.

At this point I interrupted him and asked “Can I possibly save you some time so that you don’t waste your breath? What you are going to tell me is that because we are in the firearms manufacturing business you no longer want my business.”

“That is correct” he says.

I replied “That is okay, we will move our accounts as soon as possible. We can find a 2nd Amendment friendly bank that will be glad to have our business. You won’t mind if I tell the NRA, SCI and everyone I know that BofA is not firearms industry friendly?”

“You have to do what you must” he said.

“So you are telling me this is a politically motivated decision, is that right?”

Mr Fox confirmed that it was. At which point I told him that the meeting was over and there was nothing let for him to say.

I think it is import for all Americans who believe in and support our 2nd amendment right to keep and bear arms to know when a business does not support these rights. What you do with that knowledge is up to you. When I don’t agree with a business’s political position I can not in good conscience support them.

We will soon no longer be accepting Bank of America credit cards as payment for our products.

  1. Bank Of America can kiss my ass! This is the start of anarchy……….

  2. Aside from exposing the pimpstick douche bags at B of A for the limp d** a**wipes hormonally deficient skin bags they are, and I actually know some of these )$#@)#)@*($^ the best part of this post is the links to the companies that offer some serious guns and ammo.    When B of A crashes, and that is a virtually 100% certainty, I will do the Second Amendment dance of celebration as all the B of A employees get their walking papers out the front door of their offices, unemployed and unemployable.   That will be a red letter day in the USA.,

  3. PS  I forgot to mention the dots connected.  Obama to Buffett to  girley man Fox.  Can anyone find the email address for Fox?

  4. I like it. I coined both since today is a good day to curse the entire establishment. Now I’ve gotta go for a while. Anniversary for my wife and I. Ya’ll have fun now. Be back soon.

  5. There just isn’t anything to say.  Besides too busy having sex today.

  6. Folks

I sometimes think that our ability to BOYCOTT business & people has been forgotten

Time to boycott BOA & the morgue – goldman ect.

they make our life difficult & piss us off

well then turn about is FAIR PLAY

  7. I am of the opinion that Bank of America is going to be the first major U.S. bank to go down in the derivative mess. The banksters are going to learn the hard way that you don’t fuck with firearms manufacturers (and their supporters). Bloody hell, to think a bank has the audacity to insult firearms manufacturers in such a low life way.

  8. WTF that is unbelievable, I’m shocked, hell no wonder they sold 15 branches of their offices in Maine this past couple of weeks. Maine is a GUN State Through and Through good riddance Bank of America you will be going down the drain fast and I hope it’s FASTER. “Power To The People Not The Banks” This Goverment Has To Go or Our 2nd Amendment Rights Will.

  9. Makes you wonder why BOA would be afraid of citizens with guns doesn’t it?

  10. Here is some good news   WSJ article reported that B of A is laying off 2,000 mid and high level executives in very short order.  That comes on top of the 30,000 employees that are being given the ax.  B of A stock is off 0ver 80% in the last few years.  Hey   SR V.P, Fox, don’t let the door hit where the Lord split you.  Haha

  11. Why anyone would still be banking with BOA after the 2008 financial debacle is beyond me. ANYONE that is banking with them is an enemy of freedom and a supporter of financial terrorism. Same goes for JPM, Goldman Sucks, Citibank, Wells Fargo, Merrill Lynch. EVERYONE should be taking their money out of the TBTF banks and putting it in local credit unions or locally owned banks.

I, for one, am going one step further and shorting the crap out of BOA on long dated put options. They will fail.

A copy of my note to BOA, cc’d to McMillan Group International.

        To Whom it may concern,

It was with genuine disgust that I learned of your decision to
terminate your business relationship with McMillan Group International
in Phoenix, AZ based on the fact that they are now considered a
    manufacturer of firearms.

I applaud and support the rights of both businesses and individuals
to conduct business as they see fit. It is in this spirit that I offer
my profound thanks to BOA management for opening my eyes.

In that same spirit, I will cease doing business with anyone
attempting to pay for my products or services with BOA debit cards,
credit cards or checks. If there were some way to refuse cash obtained
through a BOA branch, I would do that too. As I consider myself to be
ahead of the curve, I have no business or personal accounts with BOA by intent.

BOA stock price October 2006–$53.87. BOA stock price April
2012–$8.11. Down slightly less than 85% in only five years, six months.
I predict that BOA will not be missed when it meets its end.

    With sincere thanks,

My note to McMillan Group International.

        To Whom it may concern,

I recently read of BOA’s decision to
cease its business relationship with you. I applaud and support your
response to them. I recently wrote a note to BOA which was cc’d to you.

        I
would urge you to avoid all but the most responsible banks in this
country for your business with. Consider a local credit union instead.
If it were possible, I would gladly help finance a sound and growing
company like yours. I’d bet that thousands of Americans would as well!

    Sincerely,
    (name withheld for this posting)

  14. OMFG!!!!!!!!! ARE YOU FLOCKING KIDDING ME?????????? Guess that means they can no longer do business with the government, foreign nations, and a laundry list of others…. BOA CAN KISS MY BLINDING WHITE ASS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  15. B of A is the world’s greatest suckup bank. They pick on the little guy cuz’ the little guy or business can’t fight back, or so they think.  I know these SOBs and there is no bank more arrogant in this country.  B of A is a notorious laundered of drug money and has been for decades.  That is just the tip of the iceberg on B of A.

  16. Mr. Ray Fox you are my hero. BofA – you are going down down down.

  17. I don’t waste time with any banks, I have used a credit union for over 30 years, be a member, not a customer!
